He doesn't mention how difficult the head is to get off the tripod body... its very difficult!!

@NeilCairns13 How exactly does the head detach? I have the same head as in the video with the Velbon CX 686 tripod and I can't figure out how to remove the head. Thanks

@pondo999 With difficulty!! I 'think' the Head is meant to be tightened and then unscrewed, but i haven't managed to do this for ages - when i tried doing it the last few times, I couldnt, and so decided to loosen the tensioners, and was able to take the head apart - but even then, was not able to get the head off the tripod - i have now emailed Velbon themselves and asked them, as the ONLY reason I bought this was because I wanted to take the head off !!! It is VERY VERY VERY annoying!!

Does the head transfer any shake into the shot when taking hold of the pan arm when particularly zoomed in on a subject? I'm looking for a tripod in this price range with a fluid head that doesn't pick up shake from the pan handle when zoomed in. Thanks.
