  • They looked so much better back then, before they were made in factories. Good thing we have Heavenly Donuts here in the Merrimack Valley!

  • @moxie997 I live in Connecticut and I didn't even know there was any Heavenly Donuts anywhere else besides here. I thought it was just a local place since I have never seen one anywhere else.

  • @squezey1 Heavenly Donuts started in Bradford, MA, and I know back in the 80's they built one in Methuen, MA and another somewhere in Connecticut... I didn't know it was still there. Maybe it was spun off from the parent company. They just built some more in Salem, NH, Haverhill, MA, Lowell, Lawrence, and North Reading. I just hope they don't become so big their quality goes down like alot of other places!

  • All of a sudden I crave Dunkin' Donuts...all because my dad had that for his birthday :P

  • I used to love this one, especially at :15 when he goes "Do yooouuu..." I used to imitate him. LOL

  • I SO remember this one! This used to crack me up! XD

  • love it.

  • That's not right. Crossdressing like that.

  • remembered this commercial today with a friend

  • Makes me laugh every time. Haven't seen this since, well the 80's.

  • These days there are a good number of Dunkin Donuts with language barriers.

  • i love this video, makes me laugh every time'

  • you are so right

  • woah fred was a tranny gotta love the 80's

  • I work at D&D, and our baker is Ed the Baker, heh.

  • They never have this many doughnuts in a Dunkin Donuts. Believe me.

  • Yeah, he is trying to cover his mustache and half the time he doesn't. Guess the donut people aren't very smart.

  • He has a Hitler-esque mustache.

It was super funny when he was trying to cover it up with his finger, and the guy hesitantly said "Ma'am?"

  • This one won a "CLEO" award for best commercial that year. And Michael Vale for best actor!!

  • mmmmm donuts sexy

  • ma'am.

  • Itis him MAARRRIOO.

  • One of the Funniest Commercials Ever!

  • Donuts + 80's Saturday Morning Cartoons = "TAKE ME BACK PLEASE!" - :-) Nostalgic Dunkin' Donut Cravings thanks do Dunkin'!

  • THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! For posting this!!! This is my absolute favorite Dunkin Donuts commercial.....EVER!!!

  • These Fred the Baker commercials were always the best and always make me nostalgic of growing up in New England. Now if we can only get a Dunkin' Donuts in California I'd be thrilled.

  • @Ichbing . You aren't missing ANYTHING. DD is nothing like they were prior to the early 80s. Krispy Kreme is MILES better than DD, at least the dougnuts are still made there in front of you...and you are reading a note from a lifelong New Englander.

My opinion..you want a really good doughnut? Go to a specialty bakery. DD is nothing now but just another fast food joint.

  • @danieljh I think the only thing I like at Dunkin Donuts is their hash browns when they are fresh and those cheese bagel twists. I go there often because it's convenient but it's nothing special and their donuts are the most thick, hard, and flavorless things I ever ate. We used to have a Krispy Kreme where I lived but it closed down, they had the best donuts I ever ate, so soft and sweet.

  • @squezey1 We used to have Krispy Kremes in my state...but I guess they closed down due to low popularity. Because of this, my dad often brings back Krispy Kreme donuts from Erie.

  • Scariest Dunkin' Donuts commercial.

  • Am looking for the one when he wakes up an says " time to make the donuts" please help!! Thank you

  • My best friend and I still do the "No...ma'am."

  • He looks so much like my beloved Grandmother in this commercial....the dress, the wig, the gloves..but NOT the moustache... LMAO!! This ran back when she was alive and I was in college in the 80's. Love it...thanks for posting!!!

  • Thats just like Mrs. Doubtfire.

  • why does that guy look like hitler?

  • @MeThinksEnStuff because you're paranoid...

  • yes but his name is fred and he died.

  • @Markiegee50 wat happnd

  • That's true that, for the Dunkin Donuts commercials and the Dunkin Donuts cereal commercials his name is Fred The Baker but, his real name is Michael Vale.

  • Divine sells Doughnuts.

  • This was the best! LOL "Good!"

  • One of my favourite all time favs

  • This really takes me back!

  • I miss the one where the french chef tries one of their croissants:

"ze are brilliant...MY LIFE IS OVER. Two hundred years of tradition, down ze tubes...My reputation will be gone..."

  • If you ever find it, send me a link, I gotta see that.

  • too bad its all run by foreigners now lmao jk

  • Classic! - nuff said

  • "Do you have delicious chocolate frosted donuts like Dunkin Donuts, hmm?"

such a classic commercial. Thanks for taking me back with this one.
