I personally think the Avon Magix primer is A LOT better than the Hard Candy primer. The Hard Candy primer is greasy (if I don't shake it before us, it will even come out with liquid) while the Avon Magix isn't greasy at all - you can feel the powder-like finish in the Avon primer and it lasts a long time. :) If you haven't tried it, you should. It's only $10 which is a great value for how wonderful it is.

Most drug store brands tend to only have a few products that are worth getting. I got the naturally naughty sample pack as a Christmas present today and the primer really does feel great and makes the eyeshadows stand out :) Also, the take me out eye liner is very creamy, and is extremely buildable, which makes it a great liner. Those are the only things that are really worth it to me in this line, even though I haven't put any of product on my face yet.

I remember HC Cosmetics back in the 90s, and wondered what happened to them. They used to sell HC at Sephora. I was excited when I found out that HC is back and is sold at Wal-Mart. I don't usually shop at Wal-Mart, but they do have a good health & beauty department! I wish Target would step it up a few notches! LOL
i tried the lash fiber mascara... it made me feel like i had a hair tickling me all the time i didnt really like the felling but it did what is was suppose to do and i did that that factor
all those little 5 color books suck. They all are just really sheer slightly shimmery colors... I didnt much care for it, but the primer is amazing! I have an eyeshadow palet from hot topic that wouldnt go on well (it was really dry, coarse, powdery eyshadow that went on patchy with a ton of fall out) and the primer made it go on and stay on.

@MsKimEnid i own the rimmel london one, and it's pretty good at keeping the oil away. it's not as good as the urban decay one, but it makes your skin really soft and smooth and its tinted so sometimes, you don't even need anything hevy on top

Hey hard candy makes some really good liquid eyeliners, and even green mascara! (there's other bright colors too) Tip though, don't get their eyeliners. they stink :/
I tried this primer after watching your video about a year ago, I was a little dissapointed in it...however i have not ever used a primer before soo i'm not exactly sure how it is supposed to work, but it left my make up looking a little dusty and it made it look a few shades darker. I bought hard candy blush in baby doll and it is AMAMZING! I love it, i'll never use another blush.
Sorry I can't...I didn't like the concealer very much and it got returned. It just didn't give me the coverage I needed. You can check out my Daytime Face Routine vid tho. I used a different concealer palette, but you can definitely apply the same concept using the Hard Candy one =)

i have been seeing hard cand in walmart for a while now, but i never tried it. I bought some colored mascara last week in pink and it was awesome! i didnt have to put a lot for the color to pop and its just so great.
Unfortunately, it only comes in light and medium =/ Honestly, it's not really worth buying anyways. There are much better concealers out there. Try the HD Graftobian Glamour Corrector Cremes. I currently use a corrector palette by Cinema Secrets, but I heard the Graftobian one is really good thru Makeupbyrenren. You can buy purchase it as a palette with an assortment of shades or individually. Hope this helps =)

I've never really tried the rimmel one on my face...only on the back of my hand at the store (there was one open at CVS, so I tried it out). The HC one is completely transparent and doesn't give you a white overcast and is not oily at all after it dries =)

I don't think so =/ In my experience, face primers and eye primers usually have different textures. (face ones tend to be a lot silkier than eye primers) Have you tried elf's mineral eyeshadow primer? It's only $3 and works really well (for me, at least). I heard they recently came out with another one in their $1 professional line and is even better than the $3 mineral primer. You should give those a try if you ever order from elf =)
My experience was the same as yours, quite disappointed :( The colors were very low in pigment and the primer seemed useless. Bummer I will try the foundation primer though! thanx!

hehe I already returned them. I kept them for a while so I can do a review vid on them lol I may try the duos since people rave bout em. I bought their tinted moisturizer & am surprised at how much coverage it gives...a bit thick tho. I mix it with Stila's illuminating tinted moisturizer, which give no coverage at all, so it's actually working for me =)

maybe check out the baked shadow duos there great and the baked blush i hve 3 duos and ablush in honeymoon n all of them are comparison to mac sorta and i think urban decay and hard candy are made by same co. but not 100%

Sorry about the late response...I can't speak for its ability to help your makeup stay put since it's not really a main problem that I experience (even without a primer). I luv this primer because it's very lightweight and unscented. It makes my skin feels like silk and provides a smooth surface for your foundation to glide on evenly. It dries fairly quickly so you can move on to your normal makeup routine. I'd say try it for $8 and return it if you don't like it. Hope this helps ^__^

Hey hard candy makes some really good liquid eyeliners, and even green mascara! (there's other bright colors too) Tip though, don't get their eyeliners. they stink :/

I tried this primer after watching your video about a year ago, I was a little dissapointed in it...however i have not ever used a primer before soo i'm not exactly sure how it is supposed to work, but it left my make up looking a little dusty and it made it look a few shades darker. I bought hard candy blush in baby doll and it is AMAMZING! I love it, i'll never use another blush.

Sorry I can't...I didn't like the concealer very much and it got returned. It just didn't give me the coverage I needed. You can check out my Daytime Face Routine vid tho. I used a different concealer palette, but you can definitely apply the same concept using the Hard Candy one =)

i have been seeing hard cand in walmart for a while now, but i never tried it. I bought some colored mascara last week in pink and it was awesome! i didnt have to put a lot for the color to pop and its just so great.

Unfortunately, it only comes in light and medium =/ Honestly, it's not really worth buying anyways. There are much better concealers out there. Try the HD Graftobian Glamour Corrector Cremes. I currently use a corrector palette by Cinema Secrets, but I heard the Graftobian one is really good thru Makeupbyrenren. You can buy purchase it as a palette with an assortment of shades or individually. Hope this helps =)

The baked eyeshadow duos have excellent color payoff and you can use them wet to make it even bolder. Thier two sides eyeliner is pretty good too

I've never really tried the rimmel one on my face...only on the back of my hand at the store (there was one open at CVS, so I tried it out). The HC one is completely transparent and doesn't give you a white overcast and is not oily at all after it dries =)

I don't think so =/ In my experience, face primers and eye primers usually have different textures. (face ones tend to be a lot silkier than eye primers) Have you tried elf's mineral eyeshadow primer? It's only $3 and works really well (for me, at least). I heard they recently came out with another one in their $1 professional line and is even better than the $3 mineral primer. You should give those a try if you ever order from elf =)

My experience was the same as yours, quite disappointed :( The colors were very low in pigment and the primer seemed useless. Bummer I will try the foundation primer though! thanx!

Hard Candy use to be under LVMH which owns Sephora. It was sold to another company though, and is associated with Urban Decay.

you can actually return the stuff you dont like to walmart if you want. thats what i did.
i wanna try one of their lipglosses and blushes. (and tinted lipbalm) if i dont like any of those...i give up on the line! LOL

hehe I already returned them. I kept them for a while so I can do a review vid on them lol I may try the duos since people rave bout em. I bought their tinted moisturizer & am surprised at how much coverage it gives...a bit thick tho. I mix it with Stila's illuminating tinted moisturizer, which give no coverage at all, so it's actually working for me =)

yehh idk i tried the duos theyre not pigmented enough! lol. i dont think i should have to use a base if the shadow is good, it should be an optional thing. lol.
theres a bright pink blush that maybe will give some color (the peach is pretty too but who knows)
*sigh* i remember the OLD hard candy line from sephora. i wish it was more like that. rawr.

maybe check out the baked shadow duos there great and the baked blush i hve 3 duos and ablush in honeymoon n all of them are comparison to mac sorta and i think urban decay and hard candy are made by same co. but not 100%

Sorry about the late response...I can't speak for its ability to help your makeup stay put since it's not really a main problem that I experience (even without a primer). I luv this primer because it's very lightweight and unscented. It makes my skin feels like silk and provides a smooth surface for your foundation to glide on evenly. It dries fairly quickly so you can move on to your normal makeup routine. I'd say try it for $8 and return it if you don't like it. Hope this helps ^__^

omg i bought the curling mascara.
i really wanted the volumizing one but they ran out in purple. i was dissapointed when i used the curling one. it sucks!!!!!
it clumps up so bad. i got it in purple and its a really nice color. i guess the brush is what sucks.
