awesome man, the music fits perfectly to the moves!! i know how much work it is to make a video like that so i really appreciate what u did! keep up the good work!!
(oh yeah and how brilliant is that part from 3:04 to 3:25!?)
Now that's what I call real cooridnation and dancing. And if this is what you did just playing around with the editing software your're really going to do some things when you get into it. Wonderful. Thanks
Nicolas Bros, Charlie Brown, Tom & Jerry (zoot suit), Mama Bear, Molly Ringwald, Shirley Temple & Friend, Fred, the Trio...Loved it, loved it, loved it! Perfect Ending!
The Nicolas brothers were the best, truly amazing! The Whites would go to Harlem, The Coton Club and watch everything the Blacks did and try to copy! lol Still today, with Hip Hop, etc,.
you mean the one from 0:53 and 03:52? That's Singing in the Rain from 1952. The two guys are the great Gene Kelly and Donald O'Connor and the girl is Debbie Reynolds (fantastic and incredibly talented lady, nowadays mostly known for being the mom of Carrie Fisher aka "Princess Leia".
@json1977 yes i thought it was debbie... it really confused me when it said that shirley temple was in singing in the rain. i thought, "no... really?" and i had to look it up to make sure!
This wuz breakdancin before they called it break dancin LOL just like these kids nowadays say disco is dead,, disco is ALIVE and WELL, they just call it HOUSE music,, or Technotronic,,,same beats and moves,, just different names!
Dreambro your exactly right the Nicholas Bros had a battle against the Berry Brothers before the term was ever used by anybody too bad no one has footage of that historic dance contest it would be considered PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!
You're right about the Nicholas Brothers, I can't believe they're not more well known. If I had the ability I'd try to make a documentary showing how amazing they were, and what an influence they had on so many dancers.
Thanks! The Nicholas Bros are indeed an under-appreciated treasure. How they don't put clips of them on MTV, I'll never know. Then again how they don't put ANY music videos on MTV anymore is also a mystery. But they were CLASSIC. And it's a shame today's generation has know idea how great they were.
thank you for the compliment. Glad you enjoyed it. The Nicholas Bros should get more media attention as far as I'm concerned. They've influenced so many and were quite possibly the biggest and greatest dance duo that unfortunately few people know of.
There comes a time in History when talent can't be matched and the moves of the Nicholas Brothers is a perfect example. Although, Savion Glover isn't bad :)
Thank you, I really appreciate all your compliments :-D I just wish I could move like the Nicholas Brothers - course I'm not asking to run up walls, backflip and land in a split, but if I could tap like that, wow. Even the late Gregory Hines said they'd have to create CGI actors in if they ever did a movie on the Nicholas Bros.
thanks musicluva! personally the part that always does it for me is Shirley Temple at 4:09 :-) That's my money shot; I was partially surprised at how well it came out after editing it.

seriously, mtv needs to change their name.....to RTV...or something like that because thats all they show..reality tv...too much reality.
roctoc 2 years ago 5
true, except the only thing that's "real" about any of their "reality" shows is the camera crew
