man an iphone is just a show phone. you can't text fast at all or enter websites. i could've entered google.c om/m about 20 times before you entered it once on my htc with a full qwerty keyboard (no need to change pages to get a dot also). And i can have the whole iphone theme so it looks and acts and has the same firmware the iphone dont but mine is better than iphone so i dont use it

This is much faster, but it does not speed up your Edge connection in the slightest. Getting the data from Google to your phone is STILL going to go over the Edge network at exactly the same speed.

Besides the obvious argument that youre spending more time going through a proxy then you would just going to the web page itself, you are getting a completely inaccurate reading.
The speed you got was that of the google proxy. Thats why the message "not an iPhone" appears.
Google loads the page to its server at 699kbps, and from there, your phone continues to download at its usual rate.
