@BlueRosezNstarrz, thats whats great about baseball you get all types of people with different ways of playing the game Ty Cobb, Pete Rose, Kirk Gibson, just to name a few were nasty players. Some guys would rather hit the catcher and be out then slide and be safe. When I played way back in the day I would go out of my way to hit a catcher, roll a shortstop or step on a first basemens foot, if the other team didn't like it I got Plunked. so what I got on base with another chance to hit someone.

I was there at that game where Morgan hit Brett Hayes like that. There was no reason too. If he would have slid, he would have been safe. Morgan doesn't have a great track record, especially not with the past few weeks. Throwing that ball and nailing a fan in the head, hitting Bryan Anderson when he wasn't even blocking the plate. The guy is just nasty in playing the game, and that is NOT how you play baseball.
He need to get some class and sit the crap down.

The Marlins did .... you probably haven't seen when the Nats played the Cards, and he hit Bryan Anderson... then he hit Marlins' catcher Brett Hayes the day before this game... he deserved to get hit... he is playing like an animal...just like Helms said, no integrity. Yeah the marlins didnt catch him stealing those bases, but did you see the game? He obviously was trying to make a statement.. Morgan never even came back to see how the Marlins catcher was doing... or help him up. He DESERVED it

From there his team was losing. Is the objection of the game to WIN? Whether down by 1 run or 10, is the objective not the same?
At what point does the opposing team just say F'IT Why couldn't your team catch him taking 2B or 3B? Was your team complacent with your lead?
