@AlexandrosMykael yes, and at the core of their doctrines, they insert someone between people and God. I've witnessed much psychological abuse. Heavily control oriented. Much of their energy is spent keeping their own in check, and that's the biggest complain of ex-JWs. Despite whatever their rate of converts, there is still a definitive separation between them and the society they exist within. I guess the question arises as to which of the 7 church types they fall in, if at all.

As cults are defined yes, but they aren't Koresh, or Jim Jones, nor Warren Jeffs or The Family. In otherwords, the JWs don't have a passing sincerity that justifies some perversion. But they are hot, not lukewarm. They are positioned where God wants them. As much as I feel I could shoot holes in their doctrines and practices, for me this is one of those 'judge not' cases.
@AlexandrosMykael the JWs are a special brotherhood in God's mercy in the church. God protects them by moving them in circles, going from house to house and coming across many, among who are the faithful that pray for them after they have gone on to the next home.

I wonder why do people think that being a child of God is a boring life. I've had the most fun in my life with God and I'm 19 (going on 20)! I can't imagine a life without Him. Though I have made bad choices and I still do. I'm trying very hard & learning from my mistakes. Ellen White said that santification is a life long process. God use me & my twin bro in great ways and I pray that He continues to do so, even though I mess up at times. Please include us in your prayers! We love Jesus & God!

There (in that religion) you will find the 10 commandments and Jesus .When i say 10 comm. i mean all of them (look at 4 comm !! ) . @MrCimme The beliefs of people in general run a full spectrum today and there's no reason to believe they did any different before Christ. So you are right, 100s of religions would have been completely plausible. And I just said, "the bible" without saying it. And it very well answers those questions not limited to the five senses and by the scientific method. And the bible does say it is true. Therefore either it is true or it is not.

Jesus is a prophet of God in the Koran. Hindu's recognize Jesus as the son of God. Westerners introduced Jesus to the far east and Africa in the 1700s. Europe and the Americas are either Catholic or Protestant.

The moral law is separate, Mat. 5 17-18 "Not one jot or tittle of the law shall change until all earth and heaven come to pass".

Israel expected that Jesus will come to free them from the romans and make them kings of the earth because some of them dont understand the prophets but prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 53 (entire chapter) speaks only about Jesus and His coming .

human reasoning (as flawed as it may be) can be sanctified by the Holy Spirit to understand spiritual things. God says in the Bible, "Come, let us reason together". He wants to reason with us. If we study the biblical claims, nature, the historical record, human nature, and the like...I believe that the bible will be proven reliable.

i feel your pain because we all have doubts in our minds, even Christians sometimes cant justify why they believe what they believe they just believe because they were raised to believe that. I spent 19 years searching for god. Honestly I don't want to search anymore. There's no evidence. There's no way to distinguish someone receiving the holy spirit to that of a crazy person in an insane asylum talking to angels. The Bible is absolutely IMMORAL, and not accurate, not evidence, and not prophetic.
I dont know which God youve been searching for over 19 yrs as youve claimed though, but the true God I know and serve says in the bible that: Those who serve me in TRUTH and in FAITH shall find me. The narrator of the video simply start by saying it is easy for God to have created men in form of Robot (i.e. i-Human) but of what importance is it to him if he does that? Could you imagine drawing a cat on a paper and expect something good of it?

to me but I had some questions they couldn't and wouldn't answer because it went against what they believed in and they could not justify their. I started watching pastor bachelor the guy in this video that's narrating the story and he started showing how the bible can be decoded through historical point he also did a whole series on prophecy, he showed how not everything in the bible can be taking literally, somethings are a symbolic meaning for something else.
The whole series showed me that you can go back in history to prove gods prophecy through researching history and finding out the facts on what actually happen this affirmed my faith cause when I went back in history I saw everything that God said through his words were true because things happen the way that god said they would. To sign off I would like to quote something someone once told me, I was told that no one person on earth has a hundred percent knowledge of everything in the universe,
so keep in mind although you know a lot and I believe you do, but you do not know everything, in that percent that you do not know God may exist and what this video is saying can be true. If god has the ability to create more humans, create an entire universe with all the laws, and create millions of angels, what *real* sacrifice is a physical body? Why is blood so magical? It makes NO sense at all. He could have just forgiven everyone. The blood sacrifice was arbitrary, and unnecessary. And it wasn't really a sacrifice. If you die as a sacrifice, and then get raised form the dead and get to be god again, you don't get to call that a sacrifice. What exactly did god sacrifice?
this is because god is a god of firm principles (as he wants us to be by the way) and all he does is just and he abides by the laws though he is the one who makes them. the bible said that without the shedding of blood there is no remission for sin, thats why the blood sacrifice was necessary from way back then. god loves the sinner so much that he was willing to give his son up to die and shed his blood for them but he couldnt just forgive them like nothing, that would not be a show of love.

Hmm... not sure where you are getting all this for his character. As far as I can tell from what I've read he is the opposite. He doesn't interfere with others that much. He pops in only when he has to. And the genocidal comment is commonly used but the rules of war are quite clear that any nation is offered peace before an attack. It was by far the most civil warfare of the time period in which those events happened. Which was generous considering what those nation did.

@AlexandrosMykael yes, and at the core of their doctrines, they insert someone between people and God. I've witnessed much psychological abuse. Heavily control oriented. Much of their energy is spent keeping their own in check, and that's the biggest complain of ex-JWs. Despite whatever their rate of converts, there is still a definitive separation between them and the society they exist within. I guess the question arises as to which of the 7 church types they fall in, if at all.

As cults are defined yes, but they aren't Koresh, or Jim Jones, nor Warren Jeffs or The Family. In otherwords, the JWs don't have a passing sincerity that justifies some perversion. But they are hot, not lukewarm. They are positioned where God wants them. As much as I feel I could shoot holes in their doctrines and practices, for me this is one of those 'judge not' cases.

I wonder why do people think that being a child of God is a boring life. I've had the most fun in my life with God and I'm 19 (going on 20)! I can't imagine a life without Him. Though I have made bad choices and I still do. I'm trying very hard & learning from my mistakes. Ellen White said that santification is a life long process. God use me & my twin bro in great ways and I pray that He continues to do so, even though I mess up at times. Please include us in your prayers! We love Jesus & God!

So you are right, 100s of religions would have been completely plausible. And I just said, "the bible" without saying it. And it very well answers those questions not limited to the five senses and by the scientific method. And the bible does say it is true. Therefore either it is true or it is not.

Jesus is a prophet of God in the Koran. Hindu's recognize Jesus as the son of God. Westerners introduced Jesus to the far east and Africa in the 1700s. Europe and the Americas are either Catholic or Protestant.

The moral law is separate, Mat. 5 17-18 "Not one jot or tittle of the law shall change until all earth and heaven come to pass".
And that also includes the 613 laws that follow the ten commandments, not just the first 10. So you better stop wearing that cotton-nylon blend t-shirt ASAP.

Israel expected that Jesus will come to free them from the romans and make them kings of the earth because some of them dont understand the prophets but prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 53 (entire chapter) speaks only about Jesus and His coming .

There's no way to distinguish someone receiving the holy spirit to that of a crazy person in an insane asylum talking to angels. I dont know which God youve been searching for over 19 yrs as youve claimed though, but the true God I know and serve says in the bible that: Those who serve me in TRUTH and in FAITH shall find me. The narrator of the video simply start by saying it is easy for God to have created men in form of Robot (i.e. i-Human) but of what importance is it to him if he does that? I started watching pastor bachelor the guy in this video that's narrating the story and he started showing how the bible can be decoded through historical point he also did a whole series on prophecy, he showed how not everything in the bible can be taking literally, somethings are a symbolic meaning for something else.

At the back of the room another student stands quietly for a moment before asking a question of His own. 'Professor, is there such thing as heat?'
'Yes,' the professor replies. 'There's heat.'

'Yes, son, there's cold too.'

@coolp45 Your story is retarded, you can not use human reasoning to prove God, with your cold is the absence of heat, so sin, death, and sickness, must be the absence of God. That is not how we are to understand God, human reasoning is faulty, so we can not use it to prove anything.

If god has the ability to create more humans, create an entire universe with all the laws, and create millions of angels, what *real* sacrifice is a physical body? Why is blood so magical? It makes NO sense at all. He could have just forgiven everyone. The blood sacrifice was arbitrary, and unnecessary. And it wasn't really a sacrifice. If you die as a sacrifice, and then get raised form the dead and get to be god again, you don't get to call that a sacrifice. What exactly did god sacrifice?

this is because god is a god of firm principles (as he wants us to be by the way) and all he does is just and he abides by the laws though he is the one who makes them. the bible said that without the shedding of blood there is no remission for sin, thats why the blood sacrifice was necessary from way back then. god loves the sinner so much that he was willing to give his son up to die and shed his blood for them but he couldnt just forgive them like nothing, that would not be a show of love.

the sacrifice was that god sent his son to become a human and die, get mocked, get rejected, get kicked and spat on. THE MOST SUPREME BEING IN HEAVEN GETTING SPAT ON!!! thats not a sacrifice??? because the wages of sin is death he took the most excrutiating death so you wouldnt have to. and if you follow him you will be resserectud just like he was. So truly your right if you follow the life of jesus and die and then get ressurected again you dont call that a sacrifice thats a gift.

it wasn't...that's exactly what he came to prove that any human (because he had all the same human flaws and weaknesses) can live the right way. He taught us how to be a true child of God. Besides being a sacrifice it was an example. He knew what would happen but that doesn't mean he wasn't scared or anxious. The Bible says that he even shed blood from stress--luke 22:44--

He couldn't forgive everyone because then he would be breaking his own laws. It was a sacrifice because if he had sinned before he died he would not have been raised from the dead. If through one all have sinned then to reverse it the price of one would be required, someone sinless to take the blame. I know you think this fictional, but bear with me. Look at it through a legal perspective. And remember there is no life without the body. No free floating soul.

No the footing is sound I'll tell you why. You assume that because he made the rules he can change them. But God is very limited why? Because of his character. The Law he created is perfectly in sync with his character. His 'law' was unable to change because, following christian belief, God is unable to change. No government can stand if its laws and punishments are constantly changing to suit its people and ruler. If God is perfect then so is his law. His death proved that he couldn't change it

Hmm... not sure where you are getting all this for his character. As far as I can tell from what I've read he is the opposite. He doesn't interfere with others that much. He pops in only when he has to. And the genocidal comment is commonly used but the rules of war are quite clear that any nation is offered peace before an attack. It was by far the most civil warfare of the time period in which those events happened. Which was generous considering what those nation did.

I have read quite a bit. My complaint would be he has not done enough. But as we know concerning things like the death penalty in the US it does not deter crime it merely ensures it will not happen again with that offender. If you read Job you will see that although Job and his friend always blame God for the trouble it was not him who was causing his servant pain. In face of terrorism strength in military is often useless. The same is true in an attack of character. Force can't stop ideas.

This stuff is full on possession allowing the devil to take complete control of your body. @amigojapan Satan wants to destroy us because Satan enjoys destroying those that were made in his image, he knows he could never destroy God but he can destroy us and it gives him satisfaction. Oni are fallen angels/demons, I know in Japanese culture they make it seem like some Oni can be good and some are bad, but in reality they're all bad, because they only care about their own will however they want to disguise it and not God's will.

The bible doesn't say if this is a female angel or that is a male angel . I think ( its my opinion) that angels are neither female or male because they cant procreate . Their main job is to serve GOD and protect us .
