  • i got one of them monsters,mi

  • chewbacca?

  • in the description it says can i borrow your pencil? hehehe Thats what she said

  • now step two. make conductive paint (school glue, graphite, or iron shaving, cant remember the commbination)

  • I have to say, I have tried this several times at school during free time. It never worked until I found a new method. And as @RoleXSkirmisP said, it is like redstone. Or at least, my method is. I ground up graphite and tried several other materials into a very fine powder, spread it into a circuit form, and it worked to my surprise. I found it works much better in a powder form.

  • you do realize that it's common knowledge that graphite is somewhat of a conductor - anyone who had to hard mod a psp battery into a pandoras battery had to use a pencil to draw a new trace

  • oh yea! WELL... i made A SANDWICH!

  • Could you do this with a pencil that didn't draw as thick, such as a mechanical pencil?

  • @HouseholdHacker I have a science project due tomorrow and let me say this is a great project but I made a cuircit with 3 LED's will it still work because they wont seem to light up? Please help me!!!

  • @undefined0000100 well you should try doing one LED and if you want to up that then draw diffrent tracks for each LED dont run them off the same track,

    yw

  • i want his jacket :D

  • I'm going to do something like this in my computer engineering class.

  • @stratos2001zoe nope

  • @stratos2001zoe no, bu I will.

  • grafite!

  • gud looks

  • wow

  • i want to find the book but i cant find it any where any ideas?

  • 2:41 why is their white stuff on that dog?????

  • we did this in my science class, pretty cool

  • but will it blend

  • umm what are those clamp things called please reply!

  • @omega3766 Crocodile clips or alligator clips

  • @omega3766 Alligator Clips

  • tested simple led. Doesn't. Work.

  • @awesomelightning probably too much resistance, or your led is burned out.

  • @MrGerbilBrain no my LED is fine. let me try with a MUCH harder shading... ok it lights but the resistance is pretty great: 17.81kohms. not much practical for anything but lighting an LED barely... just at that 3.5V range. my little 555 timer on there is not doing anything. the resistance is just too great. a higher voltage, maybe, but if I get too high, I might damage the 555 or the LED. If I want 9V into the 555... I need about a few hundred volts in because the lines need to be thin enough...

  • @MrGerbilBrain ...to get to the pins of the 555. The video is real, all right, but he uses an IR LED and an IR-Filter removed camera to capture most of the light. One thing useful I can see out of this is a quick potentiometer.

  • @MrGerbilBrain yes, its the first one. It's not that it doesn't work in theory. Its just that it has too much resistance... from pin 4-8 its 30Mohm.

  • But you can have only 2 parts: resistors/pots and wires. Try making a capacitor too. You can't draw a 555 flashing circuit, but you might be able to use it as a board of some sort. I'm going to try that today and upload a video on my channel if it works. :D

  • got an ide for a super simple dimer

  • dude its been 4 weeks sense you posted your last video, i think that your just getting lazzy and just for that, im unsubscribing

  • aaaah a dog

  • anything having to do with science+dubstep= awesome

  • @FraeStudios Dubstep is the worst.

  • @DoctorSmeng that just your opinion

  • McGyvering huh??? nice one!!!

  • anybody who battery hacked the sony psp 2000 will validate this video.

  • @21maroon Yeah! Mine still has graphite lines drawn on it =D

  • Fuck nVidia, i'm going for an A4 paper videocard!

  • I made a piston trap with this

  • This is like Red Stone ;D

  • @RoleXSkirmisP Hmm are you a minecraft fan :D

  • @RoleXSkirmisP i was like: now...make a t-flip flop...

  • @RoleXSkirmisP except on paper.

  • @RoleXSkirmisP Imagine the redstone gates you could make!

  • Holy shit man you just won me first place in the science fair and made me the science GEEK is there anyway I can donate to you because I went to state and won 50$ to best buy that I would like to give to you

  • @KillCapjohns he makes enough money on youtube

  • @KillCapjohns And no one knew that you got the idea from here?

  • Comment removed

  • @KillCapjohns you olny won 50 for first place where im from i won 1,000 for first

  • @ioniehtanawenherne, sure you did. Oh no, whats the opposite of that. oh yeah.

No you didnt, fucking liar. get a life

  • i want to conect that to my house

  • is that an infrared light??

  • Whats the name of the dubstep song at the begining?

  • @georgyporgey1212 Doni - Haters you're welcome, please don't ask without checking the description in the future, thanks

    /watch?v=idtYoDMDTLU

  • press 9 for a wink xD

  • robh makes the best oragami

  • I thought of that YEARS ago, i had to be about 5 years old, Im 21 now. Damm, where did the years go.

  • where do you find/get/make those dubstep beats ? :)

  • hold 8 for spasm

  • kill it.

  • 2:41 Dawwwwwwwww :D its cute :3

  • nice jacket

  • this dosent work i dont see how people believe this

  • @MiniMee134 i tried it too. your right.

  • you my friend are a genius.

  • puppy monster raawwwwwwwwww

  • So be honest with me, do you get all the bitches?

  • @IAmThinkTankDubstep i guess bitches dig the brain :P

  • so what you're telling me it that i can get paper, steel wool, a glass, a pencil, clay, and a potato and fashion a flashlight out of it. Cause in theory by making a small vacuum like thing with the glass, clay, and steel wool to make the light. then wiring the steel wool to the potato using the paper and graphite. then housing it in paper. you get completely homemade flashlight. i'm going to need a lot of potatoes.

  • Anyone but me who recognized the background music from FFX? :P

  • MY NEXT SCIENCE PROJECT xD

  • where do they come up with this stuff

  • Thanx you very much,

at school i have a school project and i wanted to put lights in it, so this should work, thanx!

  • :D

  • BLINDED WITH SCIENCE!

  • DAMNNNN BOY I CAN FLY AN FREAKIN' AC-130 THROUGH THE GAP OF YOUR FRONT TEETH!!!!!!!

  • @Cruz182 Shut up you bell-end

  • Epic!!!

  • I like the dubstep in the beginning

  • Lumos?

    Are you a wizard?

  • Anyone else tried to close the Netflix add that popped up?

  • Im going to go ahead and say that the white led was attached behind the paper to the battery. why else would he punch the legs through the paper.

  • @maxwellborden Graphite is a form of carbon which is conductive. I did something like this but by making a pencil part of the circut.

  • what type of wire is are you using to connect the battery to the paper?

  • oh dear, nerds...

  • If your xbox ever gets red ringed just draw yourself a new one and tell Microsoft to go fuck themselves.

  • @jcrowley1985 lol. You made my day

  • @jcrowley1985 or just get a ps3

  • @jcrowley1985 lol great idea ill tell my friend to do that

  • @jcrowley1985 or u can try to repar it ur self red ring is basicly somtimes just dust that stuck to the fan so it doesnt trun on so it doent heat up.

  • :troll:

  • @supernossboss :badumtss: :fffuuu: i also have troll emoticons :D

  • I heard of metal pencils that write in METAL (DUH) try that

  • MINECAFT!

  • the monster is called a dog

  • stop at 3:26 he looks like a retard!

  • Thumbs up if you want to know what happens when you connect a car battery to that.

  • @camasthecat

    nothing.

  • @camasthecat It's like putting a LED in a microwave. The LED will go up into flames and be destroyed. That is why they invented resistors :)

  • @Thehero137 Putting an led into a microwave, eh? I haven't tried that, I guess I should!

  • do you have a website?

  • You could probably increase the beam of that light with a magnifying glass, pretty handy to know depending on the situation.

  • love the dubstep in the intro and background.

  • heres a thought, i wonder if i could use graphite to fix my keyboards flexi PCB, only about 2-3mm are done for from one of the circuits, anyone knows about this stuff enough to tell me if the resistive properties would allow for that?, if not, any clues as to how to fix one of these things ( conductive paint/ink/glue is not available in my country).

  • bad ass!

  • I get 30 days free regardless of if I enter science. haha

  • Let's make a paper-thin ipod!

  • Haters gonna hate potatos going to potate!!!!

  • did it work

  • omg he fond a monster!!!!wait an minute...i think death was an dog... -.-

  • *Obama Face* Not Bad

  • Final fantasy music at 2:20

  • nothing to lose except downloads I only get 60 GB a month

  • 143 people dislike dubstep. haters guna hate

  • skip ad 0:00

  • @iskandar5521 you realize that hasn't worked for over a year, right?

  • Thumbs up if I spelled it right: MacGyver.

  • Sounding little bit noob, but what u use to connect the battery to the led whats that wire called?

Please mention me if u know the answer!

    Thanks!

  • @YadeROFL Alligator clips

  • 2.30 now add ur filing and smoke it :D

  • Redstone in real life :O

  • minecraft!

  • make the flash light and add some foil and u can amplify and direct the beam

  • this is my science project

  • Am I the only one who can hear popcorn while listening to the first half minute of this?

  • now ive gotta search for fucking Epiccrafter20's comment >.>

  • i tried this... didnt work

  • Anyone else think of redstone from minecraft?

  • @dragonlord5665 yeppp i also thought he was placing blocks

  • @dragonlord5665 Woah, that's pretty similar. Good analogy. We should tell Mojang to replace redstone with graphite ;D

  • @Dark0Lord7 lawl.

  • @dragonlord5665 YES!!!!!

  • @dragonlord5665 what makes you think of that???

  • @rxgamer10 The way it works. the farther away it is, the less brighter or powerful it is. I know that's how electricity works, but i was playing minecraft. so.

  • what happened to the other guy that was on this channel

  • I will seriously give $1000 dollars to the person who can find an official word in the dictionary THAT RHYMES WITH "MONTH" with a -nth at the end.

  • @ClipheredGamer while being annoyed by snooki.....

  • I want a youtube hoody

  • @Angielyrica mee too

  • @Angielyrica You can get them at FYE, Spencer's, or Hot topic.

  • The dog is like, what tah fuck dis nigga want?

  • Doesn't work. I tried, DUD

  • *rubs forehead twice*

  • Thanks man :) I'm currently in school to be a first year Electrical apprentice. Ill show this in class tomorrow, thanks again.

PS been a big fan, since way back in your "How to cheat on tests" videos and such

  • So it's true that the pyramids where used as electricity generators !

  • Can i do it with any kind of drawing pencil?

  • today is not tuesday? o_O

  • i think that the netflix statistics aren't correct anymore

  • RobH as the Oragami MASTER

  • This is awesome. About to try it now.

  • i loved this video so much that i conducted an expirament about it check out my channel

    rproks1

  • i did this for enginerring class... got an A++ :D

  • robh, as in, robh0629?

  • Wow, nice job :D You really have a talent in that stuff

  • Fucking superb, another fucking intro with dubstep in it. For fucks sake, is no one on youtube original anymore on song choice. Fucking sheep.

  • Kooky and Spooky don't have a uh sound they have a oo sound

  • Now program a computer on the paper.

  • Comment removed

  • you can do that with any type of pencil?

  • I had a Ad for 13 mins!

  • Hi I found out that the cable from an old analog mouse or keyboard makes a good 5volt cable for things such as a light, charger,ECT

  • graphite is a eletric conducter..

  • i like trains...

  • will this work with a wire instead of that clip thing?

  • @AvengedPsycho Yes. All "that clip thing" is a piece of metal, same as wire. Just the clips make it easier to get a solid connection to the graphite.

  • @FarnesTV Thanks

  • i like how your oooooollld vids were fake and now you;re like my fav youtuber
