errent, JK is just the designation for the model year. For example, I have an 08 JK Unlimited Rubicon. The 07-10s are JKs, the 97-06s are TJs (and the 03-06 Unlimited is unofficially called the LJ), the square headlights ones (somethin-95) are YJs. This is derived from the first non-military Jeep, which was called the CJ--Civilian Jeep--and had different numbers following (CJ-5, CJ-8, etc) for different wheelbases. All Jeep vehicles (except the JK) have a "_J" designation.

nice jeep overall; good balance between the tires, wheels, lift, and body. You see many jeeps that have imbalance in these areas and the jeep looks bad as a result. With regards to taking it off road...I believe jeeps are made for off road, but why damage an expensive paint job by raking it with tree branches and rocks? Buy an older jeep and fix it up for off roading and have some fun. Keep the custom jeep with the expensive paint job intact to go out around town and keep it's value.

Yep, when I DID THE GEARS, things got better on the mpg's. gonna chip it soon and do a fuel treatment thingy and that should get me 2-5 mpg's more.

Haha be glad your not like me with my JK! I have 4.10s and running 37" Nittos which is 13.5 wide tire. I avg. about 12!:D Very Nice ride, a little to much chrome for me, manly because I know I would DIng my rim on a rock as soon as I got'em, and with my Black Sahara I kind of wanted to black it out, but it looks great man!

What kind of MPG do you get with that? I have a stock 08 4 dr Jeep JK. I was thinking about a smaller lift with some 33's or 35's, but I am a little worried about the fuel, so I am leaning toward the 33's. I would love to hear someone's opinion that actually has done this, so please let me know what you think. By the way, yours looks so sweet!
