The U.S. did NOT invade Iraq for its oil nor did we take any from them while there. The U.S. did NOT invade Iraq for its oil nor did we take any from them while there. Oil must be refined through several stages before it can be used for anything, and Iraq's petroleum infrastructure was so decrepit even before we got there that there was no way we could've used it.

Both of my parents are free market supporters, and the leading party follows the Third Way. The rich are evil, because their main goal is to protect their wealth, whatever the cost. To me, that is evil, the definition of what is evil/what isn't evil is entirely subjective.

In the Middle East's case, most of the oil they produce goes to more 'local' customers: Europe, Russia, China, and India, primarily. However we manage to find WMDs. Just not in a massive stockpiles. Old or not Saddam was supposed to destroy them according to the 1991 ceasefire agreement but he didn't.

Or to qualify the matter further --- you can think, if you are still capable of it, but you are a tool in terms of your actions for the sake of the State. This is why it is important to distinguish between civilian rule and military rule. I don'tclaim this is moral. Following orders is never a moral act, even if incidentally you are commanded to do a moral act. That is just moral deployment on the part of the State.

I can pretty much guarantee that if the woman had taken a vacation for a month to some tropical locale where she can sit on the beach all day and get spa treatments, nobody on Fox News or anybody else would have 2 negative words to say about it.

Ok so you are outraged by them calling the protests a gang, filth, etc but you were completely fine with calling Tea Party members terrorists, extremists, nut-jobs, or racists? She admittied to have left her family and meeting a young man and sleeping with him in a tent while she protests the very thing that her beloved husband does for their family.....do you see the hypocrisy? Do you not see the double standard that you are supporting? Or is everything remotely non-Liberal just flat out wrong?

@howboutthatchange She is not protesting the "very thing her beloved husband does for their family". The protesters are not protesting against every employee of every bank, or even all banks. Perhaps she and her husband have seen how the financial industry works from the inside and have insight that leads them to protest. Funny thing is, if she had "left her family" to go sit on a beach and drink mai tais for a month, nobody would have 2 words to say about it.
