Isn't it funny that modern metallica fans aren't even metalheads and don't know shit about metal?

Old metallica, especially their first four full lenghts are awesome, but then they started to suck and appeal more to kids and other non-metal people.

Overkill in other hand has no 'bad' albums. Some are weaker than the others, but still very good metal!

Big 4 of thrash in my opinion: Exodus, Testament, Death Angel and Overkill

But I like these bands only a little bit more than the other thrash/speed metal bands from the 80s!!! Thumbs up if you think the singer of Holy Moses is fucking hot!

i hear lots of other thrash bands but man ,every band i hear sounds so unoriginal compared to metallica,maybe they have cool riffs technical solos but most bands sounded the same with few exeptions

im not looking for the thashiest,the one with more social content or shit.metallica was just way more original than everybody else and of course metallica not invented thrash but they were along with few other the early promoters and recorded the first fully thrash album

@SnakesBlues Voivod were in my opinion the most original Thrash metal band. No one else could do what they did. I'm not sure I would call them a Thrash band now, but Dimension Hatross, Killing Technology, Nothing Face....no one else wrote albums like that.

Vocally, too much like Megadeth. This is the song that go me into Overkill tho. Very good musicians technically but theres better, and no, not the ones mentioned here, apart from Slayer who are technically better musicians overall. 'Gutter' is a simple riff to play. Very simple actually as long as you can down riff and mute quickly.
