  • I messed up in my post. I meant to say "the Anti-coalition crowds are one quarter the size that the Pro-coalition crowds are getting out.

The Ontario crowd must be shaking by now because they know their Liberals made a major screw up.

  • There have been anti coalition rallies like this all over Canada but the CBC and CTV will not broadcast them. They anti-coalition crowds are half of what the the pro-coalition is getting out.

Have you also been aware that the CBC is no longer mentioning the Bloc in the coalition. Three times today I heard them mention the signed coalition between the Liberals and the NDP. The Bloc seems to a bad word to be connected with the coalition now.

  • i have a blog dedicated to the exposure of liberal bias in the media. Called

"Exposing The Radical Left Wing Agenda"

    Thank you for posting

    Dan

  • Wow. Apathy and ignorance is all I see from all the people putting down the coalition. Just antiquated bush-era philosophies THAT HAVE BEEN PROVEN WRONG.

Wake the fuck up and quit being such little bitches, HARPER WAS WRONG. GET OVER IT.

  • Pat...According to Websters dictionary "Apathy" is defined as follows, "lack of interest in anything, or the absence of any wish to do anything". How can those posting, commenting & holding rallies be apathetic? Your perception of their/our ignorance must be subjective, as you really have no reference. I cannot really address that.

Most vote according to what is inline with their ideology. I don't see Harper as being wrong but I respect the fact that you do.

Thank you for a good debate!

  • Union ideology is an antiquated philosophy, at least in a country that already has laws to protect workers. Unions are like greedy politicians x 10. No wonder North American cars cost 3 times what they are worth.

    Thanks for the post

    Dan

  • I think you should look up how much your public servants are making and then look at how much your making and then ask your self why you are paying people that are suppose to be working for the betterment of Canada 1 2 and 3 hundred thousand a year!

When a Cable Splicer for BC hydro is making $276,667! It's time to take away their right to strike!

People complian about the auto industry workers being over paid.

Look up the people that work for Canada if you want to see over paid!

  • I support Harper. But more important I support Canada. The people that want a coalition don't. If they want a coalition government so much they should move to country that already has one.

  • cne

If a coalition wants to form government I say take their argument to the people of Canada. Let Canadians choose. I see the liberals are attempting to circumvent their own constitution with their most recent moves. If this be the case I wonder how well they would respect the Canadian one!

    Thank you for posting

  • Look at the facts of how harpers budget would've eroded womans rights, civil workers ability to strike until 2011 and the funding of 1.95$ per vote to the political parties (which the conservatives dont need being the richest party [CORPORATE HANDOUTS FTW.])

Everyone who is commenting in favour of the coalition is either a conservative volunteer a bot or a really really ignorant individual.

We voted and 62% of us dont want harper. Support the 62% majority @ 62percentmajoritydotcom

  • Partick (keklolgloat) Part 1

    1. I would have enjoyed discussing your comments in great depth however, it would take literally pages of text to express my educated opinion that being said I would like to ask which womens rights issues you are referring to? Please be specific.

    2. Why should any essential service entity be permitted to hold the public at ransom, period? I happen to agree with Harper on this issue. You either agree or disagree, there is nothing criminal about his proposal.

  • Partick (keklolgloat) Part 2

3a. There is a limit to which corporations are able to contribute to political parties, the liberals, ndp & bloc are subjected to the very same rules as the conservatives. I am 50-50 on this issue. The NDP & bloc do not do any fund raising which I completely disagree with. I could go on forever on this one, again, agree or disagree, nothing criminal here.

  • Partick (keklolgloat) Part 3

3b. The other parties disagree because they are in financial trouble. If they were not it would be a non-issue. Which brings me to my next point, who would you rather manage your company, a bankrupt person or one that is well off? And, are you 100% certain that the reason the Conservatives are well off is because of corporate HANDOUTS? Or are they financially responsible? Throwing this out arbitrarily dismisses any validity to your argument.

  • Partick (keklolgloat) Part 4

4a. I am not sure you worded you comment correctly or not but I am presuming you meant to write that anyone NOT in favor of the coalition is either a Conservative volunteer or bought or really really ignorant. I can assure you of the following, I am not a Conservative Party volunteer, I have not been paid to write/say what I have been for 15 years.

  • Partick (keklolgloat) Part 5

4b. Ignorant is defined as lacking knowledge or education in general or in a specific subject. I am not a constitutional lawyer nor am I a politician however I do not just read the headlines to form my opinions. I highly doubt I would be considered ignorant when referring to provincial or federal politics. If when you are young and not a liberal you have no heart. If when you get older and you are not conservative you have no brain.

  • Partick (keklolgloat) Part 6

    5. Your comment that 62% of Canadians did not vote for Harper is accurate. 100% did not vote for a coalition. Lets go to the polls and have this all straightened out. I will fully respect the outcome

Patrick thank you for posting, I greatly appreciate the debate, I am glad you are engaged.

  • Excellent, thanks for posting. Let Canadians decide whats best for Canada!
