I don't agree with just starting a fite to make up just make up w/o the fite involved mickster caz it's possible just to do the damn thang w/o fiteing and still get great enjoyment out of it.LOL!
I have to agree with all yall. this the music that I grew up on and it was the bomb! I love this and I ask the question to...Do you still love me? @ aoahawkum, I hope you find the person soon. I say the same thing...one day!
This is one of those songs that you just take your lady and dance and sway back and forth with and let Melissa Morgan sing to you. Man I miss this kind of music. Melissa where are you?
Oh, my, God. It was 1986 when I caught my girlfriend kissing another guy, I drove around for hours not knowing what to do, broken hearted. And this song came on the radio. I started crying like a baby. And everytime I hear this I thing of her, and I don't even remember what her name was. Thank you Melissa Morgan for helping me get that pain out.
TO ALL THOSE OUT THERE WHO GET'S THEMSELVES FROM TIME TO TIME-A 'YES' TO THE QUESTION IN THIS SONG...ain't we so lucky to be this happy? sho' you-right!!!
This a.m. my daughter is going thru something and this song is on point. This expresses what you feel when you may be 2nd guessing your partner. This is one of the very much needed to be asked questions and then moves, decisions, and possibly reconciliation can begin. From a mother who feels your pain.
I dont care whats on the radio when i'm at work,if i'm searching the dial & come across this here i have to stop.Stop searchin,& yes stop workin....Its funny though how GOD has time workin. Here i am a young ol'head reminising like the ol'schoolers before me.
While I agree with yall that this is sumthing you can feel to say that chicks (beyonce, mariah, jillscott, erykahbadu, heatherheadly, viviangreen, etc) today cant sing is reaching to far. Men n women lie as do opinions but numbers dont.
@sowaylow Numbers/sales are indicative of nothing these days! Most current music is significantly substandard to even fifteen years ago and the people who purchase todays music have a short attention span! Also factor in the fact that there are only three HUGE entities that own the FM radio markets across the country.... I also blame the lack of music/art theory in public schools!!! Btw with that said I love me some Jill Scott, Vivian Green and even Mariah!
Kids these days are too focused on good video and not good music. I’m too old to be distracted by a good looking chic in a video with middle-of-the-road vocal skills…cough cough, Beyonce.
@BlackLaw2020 OMFG i jus wanna give u a standing ovation, jus took the words RIGHT out my mouth!! and im from this generation. This is coming from someone who jus turned 21 last week... old skool were its at, back then u HAD to know how to sing, it was a must to get signed....Now all u need is some butt a cute face sum dance moves and auto tune and there u go, A STAR!!
@BlackLaw2020 Actually, I rate Beyonce with these ladies. She actually has incredible vocal skills. Remember, Luther picked her to do the cover with him of the old Roberta Flack tune. I fell in love with that song all over again, after hearing the two o them do it. I think she deserves a fairer shake.
@Walkingcedar2006 beyonce SUCKS and SHE wouldve NEVER mead in the 80s facing whitney houston chaka, patti, stephanie etc .they SIMPLY will eat and tear beyonce non singing bad breath tail UP

@jonfwinters I agree 100%. Whatever happened to good ol' fashion seasoned to the bone love music. People like Stephanie Mills, Regina Belle, & Alyson Williams created music worth hearing. Today all we get is over-rated sexual pleasured video viewing. The music today is about sex and not the real art of fallen in love.

@kb420ps....You worded that excellently!!! You are so right! Youngsters are not tied to any emotions today. Can music get any worse than what it is today? I often wonder about that. It's becoming a lost art, especially for Black artists.
oh my lord jesus......my heart just stopped....took me back to the days when we sang this in the talent show case in new jersey ..oh my god...i'm here reflecting back to the good ole days man...oh i miss my old friends right now. so so so many good memories.. wow man. just came accross this song by mistake..man touched my heart just now
I took a chance and bought this album because I liked the cover. That chance paid off when I heard this song. It just floored me. I was in jail just a singing in my cell when my young cellmate asked me to sing some "old school". I started to sing this song and the noise quieted down for just a little while. I guess that meant approval but anyway this song has a way of working on your emotions no matter where you are.
OMG!!!!! This was the theme song to my first heartbreak I musta played it about 6,000 times till my sisters and my step mom took it and broke it yes Melisa Morgan I do still love this song!!!!!
I love the quitet storm style of music, it simply reminds me of how things were so much better without out all of the World's problems. This was the time when people respected one another as human beings and not for what their value and status was in life. A great time to enjoy the feeling of music!

I always loved this song ,my boyfriend played it one night at the club and i was singing the song to him and he got all excited and he said that's your song, when it was over I asked him the question do he still love me? He said yes and he was just looking at me smiling.
Wasn't this one of the tracks off her album that was written by Prince? Still a great tune.

Damn, I love this song a lot. These songs nowadays don't have the same touch or meaning like the CLASSICS.

I always loved this song ,my boyfriend played it one night at the club and i was singing the song to him and he got all excited and he said that's your song, when it was over I asked him the question do he still love me? He said yes and he was just looking at me smiling.
