Hi! I just joined the club and let me tell you it's GREAT! I was up until 5am watching your videos and I made a Heart, jajajaja... I would lik to make the grapes too, so please upload that video too! Thank you so much! Vanessa, from Mexico City!
Hello...!!! It is wonderful...when will you show us the grapes one you have made??? I m looking forward...I m searching everyday if you have made the video...I m new in the club...and I love your work...Greetings from Greece...!
so, when attaching, we do a ch1, front post sc and ch1 again. but i don't understand why we do the first six loops with a ch 3 and the last 6 loops with a ch 1.. wouldn't that make it not the same size?
The last 6 chains and motif you are attaching is the same as a chain 3 but each chain is divided in to three segments to join.
1.First, you chain 1, that counts as the first chain.
2.Next you slip stitch to join, that counts as the second chain.
3.Finally, you chain 1, which counts as the third chain.
You are doing the chain 3 at the same time you are joining and attaching it to the other motif. I do have a diagram on my crochet blog showing the motif placement.
I can see where that part can come across as confusing but it is really the same as the chain 3. I could have done an extra chain but I found that it made it fuller than what I wanted. You can add extra chains if you want to.
Hi!...I love this x-mas crochet project..and I was wondering if you could or if you have the pattern for the "Dark red" grape/berry hot dish mat that you demostrated..I've notice that the circle has pretty patterns, I think there's crochet puff stitch by the sides of the circle..Since I just love grapes ..I would be happy to get the pattern and make this my next project.. :)
So, do you make the bottle caps separately first and then added on one by one or added on each time you finish one and keep on attaching them? i love the grapes one, did you say you have that on the video as well?
With this project, each bottle cap motif is connected while it is being made. The actual bottle caps and/or stuffing can be added in after all the motifs are joined and shape is finished.
I did have a video up a year ago for the variegated yarn bottle cap grape but I have removed it because I included background music so I took it down. I will probably do a whole new video.
amazingly beautiful love this project.Hmm!i really love the tortoise you showed before.that would be great if you can demonstrate the pattern of the tortoise.thank you :)

could you show how you hold your yarn? I wrap my yarn around my pinky finger and feed it from my index finger and I notice you hold yours around your middle finger. I tried to do it the way you do because it looks easier to handle, but I couldn't figure it out. Thanks!
could you use wine corks on the inside (just cut them down?)
tooplus2rsevn 1 year ago
@tooplus2rsevn You could use anything you have available. You can even fold the circles over and leave them empty.

i wan to make a big snowman and a big christmas tree thank you

You can continue to make the tree larger by adding another row of motif and setting them in the same way.

Can plastic bottle caps be used?
Zimmermann611 2 years ago
I would not recommend it if you are using it for a hot dish. You can substitute fiberfill instead.
