The booming population had presented us with the challenge of providing housing to all. If man gets shorter we can have more floors for the same height of building, thus more housing. Great, LOL

unless of course god' conveniently modified the laws of phyiscs by magic
@whitesquirrel7 That may be quite possibly the stupidest thing I've heard about Muslim miracles since Muhammeds flying horse trip.
Still, Adam.... 60 feet tall?....... Someone wasn't thinking this through very well.
That kinda reminds me of Ezekial 4:12, where god instructs his people to bake bread with human poop. It's so completely ridiculous that people can't believe that's in the Bible.
@cristoballs There's a LOT of shit in the Bible the priests don't want anyone to know about.
Personally, I dig the story where god sent two she-bears to maul 42 children because they were calling a prophet bald.
How did they KNOW that it was 42 kids? When they re-assembled the pieces, was that the number they came up with, or.... Did the kids do some basic math? Like, there WERE 60 of us, and there's 18 left.
Another good BS story is in Ezekial where god tells people to cook with human poop.

I'm accustomed to arguing with hardcore religious nutbags, so I apologize if I didn't understand you properly, but it SOUNDED like you were launching into religious apologetics, so I could have made an erroneous assumption.
Like, in my mind -- ok just throw the whole story part of the problem out and just look the geometry -- the algebra seems unnecessary. Six (thousand) and 15 (feet) both are divisible by three so I just see the thing in five segments 6000 is three parts & 4000 (the answer) is the remaining two parts. Math & algebra always seemed simpler to do by my own reasoning than the theories taught by teachers, but I guess other people just don't visualize the same way...?
@Artwich - Using scriptural references from Genesis, mathemagician and biblical expert Imin Sinisterfeld, has shown that the height relationship is cyclical and is described by:
Playing the devil's advocate here, one could say that the change in size is asymptotic to a certain height, and therefore diminishes by less and less over time. So this graph is technically fallacious, out of the fact that it makes a claim (that the size of man decreases linearly over time) without stating it.
Being an Atheist does not make you a free-thinker, nor does being religious. Both ideas are closed-minded. I love how Atheists act as if they are thinking outside the box by saying, "I don't believe in God. We are an accident. Case closed." Free thinking? No way.
We are aware of what we are around. We are barely a grain of sand in our galaxy let alone our universe. It would be ignorant for us to even attempt to "state" how existence came about.
@SolidSnake3131 You are mistaken. What makes an atheist a free thinker is not " I don't believe in God. We are an accident. Case closed." What makes us free thinkers is that we don't blindly believe myths about our creation. We question our own existence, and search for the answers in nature, rather than put faith in an unproven story book. As free thinkers we certainly don't allow ourselves to be coerced into believing creation stories based on fear of punishment in the afterlife.
"I don't believe in God. We are an accident. Case closed." Free thinking? No way.
Except that is a straw man, most atheists wouldn't consider it "Case closed". Atheists don't claim to know the origin or our existence, it may not even be possible to know it as a matter of fact, however we don't claim " Oh, that's easy, it was all an accident, case closed! ", because that would be a position lacking supporting evidence.
@SolidSnake3131 "Darkness" does not exist. It is only an absence of light. Math and physics exists regardless of how big the universe is, thus, it is not ignorant to state that no known superstition has any evidence of existence here or anywhere else.
It's been my observation that oz a hemorroid tries to not be normal, or honest. 1-I've read several versions of the Bible and have seen nothing of Adams height.2-Goliath called a giant, was about 9' tall. 3-Archaeoligical digs that support the Bible also show that as man eats better and has less illness he has grown in height. @murrangurk I say this is a brilliant video! Anyways the funny thing is that average height of human populations has been increasing due to modernization and better diets.
@supersmash43 Shhhh, that is only a fluke of the las couples of centuries, please destroy the evidence of that since it could make xtians feeble faith quiver.
@orcodrilo lol they just can't accept reality whenever it contradicts with their mythology. I will not allow people to reality no matter how much it destroys wishful thinking.
ugh, it don't know what's dumber, the fact that "helium parties" were referenced in this video, that people actually think going to "helium parties" make them cool, or that this video actually sounds like something a creationists would say.
Wow, Biblical mathematics. That is great. Keep up the great work and you will soon disprove Einstein's theory of relativity and establish the science of intelligent falling.
Darrel Ray, author of The God Virus: How Religion Infects Our Lives and Culture
You assume a constant rate of shrinkage, but that is not biblically supported.
And if Jesus comes in 2000 years, will that stop the shrinkage?
Also, if we are restored upon the resurrection to our old bodies, does that mean that all the dead people from way back get huge bodies while we modern people only get six feet? Given population trends, the soprano section of God's heavenly choir will be too large and the bass section too small.
And: Do large bodies take longer to burn in Hell?
Whats really pathetic is you just know that person figured you wouldn't know the quote.Because nobody on you tube uses Ken Hovind's videos to debunk him.

Concerning all your cussing and jeering of what Creation Science is saying - they've studied and come to the conclusion that the world back then was a lot different than what we see today.
The world back then had hyperbaric conditions when it was created, causing people, animals, and plants to grow MUCH bigger - creating the so-called "prehistoric" animals.
"The world back then had hyperbaric conditions when it was created, causing people, animals, and plants to grow MUCH bigger - creating the so-called "prehistoric" animals."
Then where are the multitudes of fossils of giant skeletons and skulls of humans?
@twothlesswonder Incidentally he has a point, except that he doesn't realize that his point supports evolution. LONG prior to even the dinosaurs, the atmosphere was much more oxygen rich which allowed at least insects to grow much larger. Heh.
By the way, means high pressure. I don't know how you aim to explain yourself here. Are you referring to partial pressure of oxygen in the atmosphere?
Homo sapiens (humans lol) are the largest of the primate lineage, and the fossil record confirms this. Some of our recent ancestors were very short, like 3-4 feet tall.
Creation "Science" also states that the earth is 6,000 years old. Give me a break. Read a grade school textbook.

ezekiel 4:12 has it as =And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man, in their sight.
it is possible that the verses mean - bake it on a fire which uses dried human dung as fuel
in some parts of africa dried cow dung is used as fuel for fires - so it is possible the verse is refering to the same idea

@MrKevMan the bible is a mitical religious book not a science book, an according to the bible earth formed ten thousand years ago and they have no proof of it, according to science the earth is 4.5 to 4.6 billion years old and they have a way to proof it

I've been wondering why this video was giving me deja-vu, and I think I actually remember now someone actually suggesting something like this to me, as fact.

Poe's law. You can't make fun of religion: it already makes fun of itself.

You're doing math? Oh! Oh! I got this one.
That's sine, not sin. It's just abbreviated sin (x) and it's the ratio of a right triangles opposite side to it's hypotenuse.
The sin(mankind) = Opposite (thats the hight of man) divided by the hypotenuse (sloped line).
Since 6 feet divided by a sloped line doesn't make any sense, neither does sin!
drfoxcourt 1 year ago
but the world tallest man is Bao Xishun (7 ft 9 in), born in inner Mongolia, China. wouldn't this mean that China has the least amount of sin

@murrangurk I say this is a brilliant video! Anyways the funny thing is that average height of human populations has been increasing due to modernization and better diets.

@supersmash43 Shhhh, that is only a fluke of the las couples of centuries, please destroy the evidence of that since it could make xtians feeble faith quiver.

ugh, it don't know what's dumber, the fact that "helium parties" were referenced in this video, that people actually think going to "helium parties" make them cool, or that this video actually sounds like something a creationists would say.

@neomp5
not the quran it is sure because in the islamic book adam was 60ft tall
they cant both be right
whitesquirrel7 8 months ago
@neomp5
also
even assuming the realtiy of the two statements
that modern men are 6ft and adam 15ft
why does it have to follow that Y=MX+c
we know from archaological skeletal remains that humans of 6000 years ago were also round 6ft in height
[ plus the story of goliath would support this ]
therefore for it to be true that Adam was 15 ft tall
the equation could not be linear but would have to be exponential at least

15 ft = 5*3 ft
6 ft = 2*3 ft
ratio of 5/2
same as
10000 yrs / 4000 yrs

You assume a constant rate of shrinkage, but that is not biblically supported.
And if Jesus comes in 2000 years, will that stop the shrinkage?
Also, if we are restored upon the resurrection to our old bodies, does that mean that all the dead people from way back get huge bodies while we modern people only get six feet? Given population trends, the soprano section of God's heavenly choir will be too large and the bass section too small.
And: Do large bodies take longer to burn in Hell?

No it doesn't. You are just quoting convicted fraudster Ken Hovind.

Reality and evidence appears to be showing us quite the OPPOSITE.

Eye2EyeIIIV 2 years ago
"The world back then had hyperbaric conditions when it was created, causing people, animals, and plants to grow MUCH bigger - creating the so-called "prehistoric" animals."
Then where are the multitudes of fossils of giant skeletons and skulls of humans?
twothlesswonder 2 years ago 7
@twothlesswonder Incidentally he has a point, except that he doesn't realize that his point supports evolution. LONG prior to even the dinosaurs, the atmosphere was much more oxygen rich which allowed at least insects to grow much larger. Heh.
Swidhelm 2 years ago
@Eye2EyeIIIV
