  • hello i have 3.51 M33-7, and i need GEN 5.50 or higher, Any1 can help me please? i cant find any1.

  • how i get version 1.50? because when i gotten my psp i gotten System software:version6.20. and i have download ur 1.50 link i dont knw where to put it can u tell me please

  • once again srry mine just says connect run program data corrputed

  • if your psp has normal sony official firmware, you will need to downgrade it to 1.50 using a pandora's battery. see my other video on "how to use the datel tool battery".

  • yea umm i only get a Corrupted data can u make a video on how to install the 1.50 srry if i cost to many problems see i just have a normal psp u.u

  • i dont have a 1.5 folder

  • can you be more specific please? whereabouts are you in the video?

  • do i take off everything on my psp when i put in usb?

  • i dont think you have to. i do because it makes it easier to keep track of the files.

  • wow, it's really workss

    thxx

  • BUT NOW ITS CHANGED

  • really? how?

  • excellent very persice

  • my psp firmware is 1.50 and when i open the 3.52 it says this application doesnt apply to this firmware, why?

  • did you apply the kxploitpatcher first?

  • I have this update. My current firmware setting is 3.90 M33-2, can I just straight upgrade to 5.00 m33 (or whatever version is the latest)?

  • i think you can update from 3.90 m33-2 to 5.00m33. The easiest way to update would be to use the network update on the psp menu. This will update your psp to the latest m33 custom firmware.

  • what are you trying to run?

  • when updating firmware do you have to downgrade it to 1.50 before upgrading it to 5.00?????

  • it depends on what type of firmware your psp currently has. if it has sony official firmware, then you do need to downgrade. if you have custom firmware, then you can update it to 5.00m33

  • hey i have one quick question, what if i my psp's version is 3.51? can i just download the 3.90 version on that web link that is given?

  • you will need to upgrade to 3.52 m33 first, then update it it 3.52 m33-2 and then m33-3. Then you will be able to update it to 3.90

  • just install to 3.90m33 as shown in the video and then to 3.90 m33-2 (also shown).

  • the same way shown in my video. or, if you have a network connection on your psp, just perform a network update and it will update to the latest custom firmware.

  • How do you unhack a PSP 3.03 OE-C so that I can update using offical Sony software?

  • sorry but i have no idea. the only way I can think of is by downgrading it to 1.50 official firmware and then upgrading to the latest official firmware. there is probably an easier way though.

  • Oh okay I see.

How do I downgrade it to the offical 1.50 on my software? I don't know much about PSP hacking.

    Thanks

  • i have a video on youtube which shows how to downgrade using a tool/pandoras battery. i am sure that there is homebrew which should do the same thing but i dont know. you'll have to search on google.

  • can u plzzzzzzzz make another videos about how to download other higher software's?

And does this work on slim?

  • to upgrade to higher custom firmwares, you just need to go to network update on the psp menu and it will install the latest custom firmware for you. i havent got a psp slim so i cant tell whether this will work for psp slim or not.

  • can you downgrade it back to 1.50

  • from custom firmware, i think there are programs that can do that but i have never attempted to use them. the best way is to invest in a tool/pandora's battery and use that. (see my video on how to use a datel tool battery)

  • i suggest trying that

  • why are you blocking your mac address

  • you are meant to block your mac address when doing these type of videos. i think it is because oterwise, hackers could use it to hack into my psp or something.

  • you either need to upgrade to a higher official firmware by sony, or a higher custom firmware by dark alex. i reccomend custom firmware but if you dont want to get into that that sort of stuff just update from the system tab on you psp

  • if you want to play the umd of call of duty on a 1.50 psp, it should work but it may ask you to upgrade your psp to a higher sony officiall firmware. if you want to play the iso of call of duty, you will need to upgrade it to custom firmware

  • I have version 3.6 all the time when i try to install it the program will run then an error will occur and the system will not run anyhelp plz ???

  • do you have version 3.6m33 or 3.6 sony official firmware?

  • i downgraded my psp from 3.71 m33-4 to 1.50 but i have 1.50 the patcher says this doesn't apply for this firmwire? WATS wrong i formatted my memory stick

  • im not sure, sorry. all i can suggest is that you try re-downgrading the psp.

  • What is your favorite version of custom firmware?

  • i usually go for the latest m33 custom firmware (which at the moment is, i think, 5.00m33-2). but i havent upgraded my psp yet so at the moment my favourite is 4.01m33.

  • its exactly the same thing

  • it is called "How to use the Datel Tool Battery"

  • if it is 3.80 official firmware, you have to downgrade it to 1.50 official firmware first then upgrade to 3.90m33-2 using this video

  • i dun get it why is everyone covering up there mac adress for?

  • the mac address is what identifies the wireless location of a device (aka. the psp). hackers could use this to hack into my psp

  • oh. LOL

  • will play cso or ripped games iso?

  • 3.90 m33 should be able to play cso's and iso's, yes

  • very eloquently instructed... best one i've seen on youtube. Keep up the good work

  • hey i have 1.50. is the 3.90 good to play downloaded games, psx, homebrew applications, gameboots and other . its a lot but ijust downgrade my psp and i want to be sore.thanks

  • i would recommend upgrading to the latest custom firmware because it has the same features as the sony official firmware of the same number. 1.50 firmware cannot run psx games because it doesnt have the emulator required to run the game anyway. you still need to install the kxploitpatcher in order to run homebrew on 1.50

  • i tested the links and they work fine for me.

  • my psp version is 3.52 how can i downgrade to 1.50?? please i need help, i searched on your videos, but i don't see any downgrade to 1.50

  • my video on how to use the datel tool battery shows how to downgrade your psp to 1.50 using a pandoras (tool) battery.

  • also i wanted to ask can i skip the KXploit step since it doesn't work and just run the m33creator?

  • my system says the firmware is 1.50 however when i follow these steps and i run the KXploit Permanent Patcher my screen say "This application doesn't apply to this firmware" can you tell me why this is happening and what are my other options if any?

  • hey is all this m33 stuff better then a v 1.5?

  • yes, definitely

  • does 1.50 suport isos

  • i dont think so as 1.50 is official firmware

  • another question sorry for all the trouble but.. if i upgrade to 3.90 and somhow it bricks how do i unbrick with my batttery xP

  • you just downgrade it again

  • Sup dude nice vids few more questions

    1. Does this sometimes not work and brick or damage your psp? or is this 100% garantee

    2. if i just keep it at v.3.52 can i make a iso folder??

    3. i have a v.1.51 psp is it still okay to do this with it cause i dont know how to downgrade.

    4. im doing this to be able to patch a game called Monster Hunter Portable 2G to english if you have this game can u tell me a link where to get the torrent??

    5. If you dont can u tell me how to get a UMD into a ISO?

  • 1. i think it can brick your psp sometimes but if it does, you can just use the battery again to unbrick it!

    2. im not sure if 3.52m33 supports isos, you will have to find out

    3. you could try but i dont know if it would work

    4. i havent got this game

    5. i have a video showing how to do this. its called "How to Backup your PSP UMD Games".

  • Than can u tell me all the steps to get the custom firmware (like the first firmware to the lastest firmware) because i do not know how to find it.

  • im not entirely sure because i dont own a slim psp. you will need to use a pandoras battery to downgrade your psp slim. see my other video on how to use a datel tool battery for more info. then you can use parts of this video to upgrade to the latest custom firmware.

but like i said, i dont know how to do it exactly because i have never downgraded a psp slim before.

  • I need some help, i've recently bought the new psp slim ( Silver Colour one) i want to put psptube on it, but i do not know how. My firmware is 3.72 ( Sony's Firmware) Can u tell me step by step how to get PSPTube. Thank You.

  • if you have 3.72 official firmware, then you cannot install psptube. you need custom firmware to run psptube

  • Just wanted to express my gratitude to you for taking the time to produce such a high quality video.

I have really been struggling to upgrade from Version 1.50 and you took the approach of how would a complete novice nedd to be walked through the whole process.

    Thank you!

  • it is entirely up to you whether you update to 4.00 m33 when it comes out. i probably will.

at the moment, n64 emulation on the psp isnt perfect but the best emulator at the moment is Daedalus (the latest is R14).

again, it is up to you if you get IR shell but i dont have it and dont know what it is.

  • because you are not supposed to show your MAC address

  • 7-zip work to

  • Thats some Strong Charisma you got there good show d=)

  • will these steps work with the latest custom firmware 3.90 m33-3?

  • yes. you install up to 3.90 m33-2 and then just install the 3.90 m33-3 update

  • thanks :D

  • Is there a problem if I try to go from my current cfw which is

3.03 oe-a to a 3.90 m33 ? Will this affect my emulators and games that are saved in my mem-stick duo?

  • if you follow my video, then it should be alright. just make sure that you start with step 2 on the 3.52m33 upgrader and copy the files to game150 folder. note also that you need to have a memory stick PRO duo for this to work

  • Hey! Can I Use this on my PSP Slim & Lite?PLS...

  • im not sure because i dont own a slim psp. if anybody else knows, please let us know

  • Ok, I'll try it on my new slim & lite...

If it's ok, I'll post it here, ok?

  • that will be fine. if you are doing it, then be careful that you dont brick your psp because i dont know what will happen.

  • wait can you go to 3.71 m33

instead of going to 3.52 m33??

  • i dont know, i chose 3.52 m33 because that is the lowest firmware needed to install 3.90 m33

  • So let me just clarify this. I have 3.03 ofw and i have to downgrade it to 1.5 then upgrade it to 3.52 m33 then i update it to 3.90 m33-2?

  • yes, you do have to downgrade it first; you cannot upgrade straight to custom firmware

  • Can i downgrade it to 1.5 then upgrade straight to 3.90 m33-2?? or i have to go 1.5 then 3.52 m33 then to 3.90 m33-2?

  • no, you do have to go in the steps that i described in my video

    (1.50 > 3.52m33 > 3.52m33-2 > 3.52m33-3 > 3.90m33 > 3.90m33-2)

  • great staf. really helpfull.

  • is this only works in 1.50 fw

    or canit be 3.90

  • no, you need either 1.50 firmware or custom firmware to upgrade your psp to 3.90m33-2

  • hey man i was trying to upgrade my psp witha pandoras battery but when i put the battery the psp screm becomes black and it doesnot do nottin and i did my magic memory too

so is there any other thing i can do i want a custom firware 3.90 m33 i have a 3.90 cfw

    thank you.

  • try pressing the X button when the screen is black and wait a few seconds. what pandoras battery are you using?

  • sony the fat one

  • so you are using one that you made yourself?

  • yeah i alredy checked the battery and it works in the fat psp but not in the slim gray psp i dont know whats happening

  • maybe the battery only works with psp slims. i dont know much about custom made pandora batteries

  • hey wat is the 1.50 kernel addon??

  • it allows a 3.90 m33 firmware psp to run homebrew created for 1.50 firmware. since most homebrew is created for 1.50 firmware, it is highly recommended that you install this

  • oh ok

    thanx i appreciate it

  • i have a jap 1.5 psp. will i still need a datel battery to add cfw to it?

  • if it has 1.5 firmware, you should be able to upgrade it to custom firmware straight away.

  • hey i have the slim with the 3.95 firmware what i do downgraded and follow ur steps?

  • there is a datel tool battery made for psp slims which you can use alongside the psp slim downgrader found in the total newbie easy installer (my datel tool battery video). that should downgrade your psp slim to a firmware which allows you to install custom firmware on it

  • does the kexploitpatcher reboot it self after intallation or do u manually do it?

  • it reboots itself

  • thnx 4 help

  • thanks wiimasterds , i bought the datel battery and it came today, and i didn't know how to put cfw until now:D, i shall make my own videos and spread the knowledge.

  • i have used it a few times and have had no problems with it. it may have a very small chance of bricking. if it does, it will say so before it does the patching.

  • i dont know becuase i own a psp fat. if anybody does now, please answer this question.

  • which part said that it could not be started?

  • after installing this custom firmwar can i install devhook? with official 3.1 FW?

  • i assume you can but i have no idea what devhook is so i dont know

  • devhook is an emulator that lets you play hombrew. if i can play hopmebrew with this firmware then i will not install devhook =)

  • yeah, custom firmware can run homebrew.

  • on my psp it says 1.50.pbp could not be opened when i go on the 3.52 creator

  • did you put the 150.pbp file in the correct place?

  • Will this work for brand new Slim? version 3.80?

  • i dont know

  • im sorry its "Wii" im so confuse which i can use to downgrade my 2.82, can i use 3.03 downgrader???

  • you can use a pandoras battery to downgrade (or a tool battery; see my datel battery video for more info). There might be a downgrader for 2.82 but i dont know.

  • oh i see i need to downgrade it first.. so how to downgrade my 2.82? its the same steps like how you upgrade? sorry willmaster im newb to this thing...

  • hi nice vid.. i have a question can i upgrade my psp ver. 2.82 to 3.52 M33 then upgrade it again to 3.90 M33-2? is it possible? please help me guys... thanks a mil!

  • nice video.

if i upgrade to 3.90 m33-2 can i then downgrade to 1.5 at a later date to update to a newer firmware? i'm in australia, and i don't think pandora's batteries are for sale here.

    thank you

  • if you have 3.90 m33-2 then you dont need to downgrade to 1.5 in order to upgrade to a newer firmware. you can just upgrade from 3.90 m33-2 to the newer firmware.

  • oh ok, thank you. what's the obsession with people wanting 1.50 then?

  • thank you,

what's the obsession with people wanting 1.50 then?

  • theres no obsession, its just that 1.50 is the easiest firmware to upgrade to custom firmware.

  • you can only upgrade to custom firmware from 1.50. if you have anything higher than 1.50, you will have to downgrade your psp first.

custom firmware has the same features as standard firmware except it also allows you to run homebrew on your psp.

  • will this work in the fat psp?

  • it is a fat psp that i am using in the video

  • Just wanted to say thanks for creating this video! i have been lost trying to read every guide there is, and the only thing i got from it was a headacke. But with this video, it is going to be simple.

    Once more, Thank you.

  • they work 4 me

  • Grr everything was going fine.. until those links failed to open :(

  • odd, they work fine for me?!?
