epoxy resin vs polyester resin, problem solved, looks like you might have autoclave in the background too , might make a differance, but is a air breather, so that wouldnt change my mind , i have seen your products before, very nice, keep up the awesome work, nice video, blessings
quick question: i have a 91 integra rs and planning to do a jdm b20b swap. would this powerchamber intake from password jdm fit the b20 throttle body or even in the engine bay?
i just ordered a password intake, but if the wet was alot less then 220 i would have bought it, since .4kg and banging it around does apply to me....only the loss of cash
question iam buyin an intake from you guys but wat is w/o ABS....i drive a 96 civic wit a d16y8 for now.....it said w/o ABS b series....what does that mean???it only fits on b series only
@ekcoupe756 ABS is anti-lock brakes... Your car HAS ABS, also you need to choose the intake for your car (EG/EK). A b-series intake will NOT fit your car. Once again, you need to order the intake for a EG/EK
but yea dry carbon is sweet as. just out of curiosity, the wet carbon intake - how saw it made? vacuum infusion or with a brush... or... what? if u know
Dry CF is actually 5x stronger then steel and 2x more stiff. So I would assume that dry CF would cost way more then wet..... When J's wet CF intake is more than 3bill and PW:JDM dry CF intake is 2 bills.... I will let you guys do the math...
PW:JDM did do a way better job than J's that's for sure. It's doesn't matter which one he hits harder. Dry CF is much stronger and lighter than wet because it has the resin preimpregnated in it. Making it have a perfect amount of resin in it. They know what they are doing. If you ask me J's is just making it cheap just to make money and while you pay for the brand name that helps for their track days. Although I like J's Racing..but whatever. I would go with what's made better. Fuck brand names.
does anyone know what k&n filter replaces this? the inlet where the filter goes on is 4.5 inches i have it on my dc2 type r if anyone knows msg me please and thank you
wow... a weight savings of 400 grams to kept your hondas wheels spinning due to the insane amount of bottom end torque this intake adds...
seriously, we can see the crack, not to mention you didn't slam your intake as hard as the other one, also you didn't show the side of the intake you slammed it on, you instead tried to show the top portion. and how often do you expect these intakes to be slammed onto tool boxes?
That is a pretty bogus demonstration. We must assume, since you failed to clarify, that by "dry" you are reffering to pre-preg material, and by "wet" you are reffering to a standard layup. Without knowing how many layers of cloth was used in each part, the mannor in which the competitors part was laminated (basic mold/vacuum bagged/compression molded) and the thermoset resin used (epoxy/vinyl ester/polyester) an apples to apples comparison cannot be made. A dissapointing way to fool customers
you slammed the wet intake a lot harder than you did the dry. and we all see that crack at 1:29. all your really paying for is the name of the intake. $200 for something that might add 10hp? ill pass
@uniotoalumni lol, paying for the name on a PW:JDM intake...which is a copy of the J's racing intake....PW:JDM...STOP COPYING and DESIGN YOUR OWN SHIT!
1. Carbon Fiber intakes are legal, I don't know why people keep thinking its "illegal", as long as you pass emissions, anything is legal.
@Gianpty - The Password JDM carbon fiber intake is dyno proven to have results similar to that of a cold air intake, without the risk of your engine hydro-locking like a cold-air.
Password, keep up the good work and keep making amazing products, supporting amazing products, and supporting vehicles!
@gianpty are you fucking stupid?I guess F-1, and all the other racing series design dry CF intakes and other parts for the sound huh...fucking idiot,CF is a better isolator of heat, keeping the intake charge cooler while being exceptionally lighter than aluminum or any other material.
@mickgepford so much anger......I'm really surprised a company that copies everyone else shit inspires this much devotion...but then again i'm sure it's because these people such as yourself cannot afford the real thing. So in the end I laugh at you and pity you all in one breath.have a nice day.
this is a great video guys, keep up the good work! it's nice to see someone do strength tests to put their products against their competitors :) shows us what we could only wish we could have the budget to test!
wtf ?
you hit the first intake and you showing only the other side then you hit the 2 and you show it all way up !
anyway both intakes where cracked and it dosent matter engine will not be happy power will be low using these shits ...
