  • @ekcoupe756 ABS is anti-lock brakes... Your car HAS ABS, also you need to choose the intake for your car (EG/EK). A b-series intake will NOT fit your car. Once again, you need to order the intake for a EG/EK

  • Dry CF is actually 5x stronger then steel and 2x more stiff. So I would assume that dry CF would cost way more then wet..... When J's wet CF intake is more than 3bill and PW:JDM dry CF intake is 2 bills.... I will let you guys do the math...

  • PW:JDM did do a way better job than J's that's for sure. It's doesn't matter which one he hits harder. Dry CF is much stronger and lighter than wet because it has the resin preimpregnated in it. Making it have a perfect amount of resin in it. They know what they are doing. If you ask me J's is just making it cheap just to make money and while you pay for the brand name that helps for their track days. Although I like J's Racing..but whatever. I would go with what's made better. Fuck brand names.

  • first thing i do when i get my .2k intake i smack it on my table to make sure it doesnt crack, and when it does i tell my friends it didnt

    seriously, we can see the crack, not to mention you didn't slam your intake as hard as the other one, also you didn't show the side of the intake you slammed it on, you instead tried to show the top portion. and how often do you expect these intakes to be slammed onto tool boxes?

  • That is a pretty bogus demonstration. We must assume, since you failed to clarify, that by "dry" you are reffering to pre-preg material, and by "wet" you are reffering to a standard layup. Without knowing how many layers of cloth was used in each part, the mannor in which the competitors part was laminated (basic mold/vacuum bagged/compression molded) and the thermoset resin used (epoxy/vinyl ester/polyester) an apples to apples comparison cannot be made. A dissapointing way to fool customers

  • No doubt the dry carbon is better but the dry carbon did crack, look at 1:29 on the outside and then again on 2:06 on the inside.

  • 1. Carbon Fiber intakes are legal, I don't know why people keep thinking its "illegal", as long as you pass emissions, anything is legal.

    @Gianpty - The Password JDM carbon fiber intake is dyno proven to have results similar to that of a cold air intake, without the risk of your engine hydro-locking like a cold-air.
