this is a cool idea but really badly done, I'd say. The horn players sound pretty ok, but the rhythm section is just out of whack completely, totally weird. I might steal this funk idea for my own combo though lol
I like it: very funky take, has a cool 70's feel...the keyboards sounded fine to me, but the players in the pix seem to be playing a different tune...

the electronic keyboard on this track is really crappy, casio quality. The drums also sound either looped or programmed. I like the horns though.
it is interesting that the keyboard choose to use a blues phrasing on the b-section of his solo.
