  • I really liked this album when it first came out. I was shocked to see that it got poor reviews. Seems they didn't like it cause it wasn't MAC singing. Great sound.

  • This entire CD has always been a favorite. Every single song on it is great. The music is well written, the mixing is excellent and the "guest soloist" (lol) has a fantastic voice. Everytime my love for this CD was knocked by an EBM-Purist throughout the years, I'd simply pity their inability for appreciating a fantastic album. Thank you for posting this track.

  • This is really good... very Beatles influenced but works very well. Even without Ian, it sounds remarkable. I was expecting it to be mediocre without Ian's input. But I was wrong. Maybe they should have changed the name like how others have suggested. It is a bit like Marillion carrying on without Fish and keeping the name (only difference is it is not as bad as that).

  • Will and Les's masterpiece. Blisteringly good album. Shame they didn't change the band name.

  • A cruelly underrated album!

  • all the trademark e&the b sounds , just can't accept the singer. heard about this and didn't know it wasn't a brand new album saw them last may at the warfield in s.f. they did just the 1st 2 albums + an encore or 2 almost perfect show but no i was the puppet

  • This is better than anything the bunnymen or Ian mcculloch did after ocean rain. I agree with shhoward71, they should have taken a new name.

  • got this album in '91, lent it to a friend in '97. some friend! i forgot about this album, how much i loved it. im in love with it again. now i have to buy the album again. gone gone gone yet to be found found found.

  • I never did understand why this album got slagged as much as it did. I think it's a great album, and Noel Burke has a great voice.

  • 21 years old this December .. but still kicks ass! highly under-rated album.

  • Love the album - such a departure from the others

  • I have this C.D. I think it's unreal. Unique in it's own way.

  • Wow...what a pleasant surprise to see find that there are others who like this album as much as I do. I love all the Echo stuff with Ian, but this album was really good on its own. I had the fortune of seeing this line-up in concert after the album came out and they were excellent live as well. If I remember right, all the songs came from Reverberation except the encore, where they surprised us by closing with Over the Wall!

  • i fucking love this album.even though there was no ian.it rocks

  • noel burke have have better voice than ian for me. the best: ian with noel !!

  • Luv this album, forgot about it. Thanx for unearthing it. Now i gotta go buy it.

  • Did they ever do a music video for this? Can anyone please reply to me and let me know where I can download this? I used to have the cassette and I played this one over and over. One of my favorite Echo songs.....Thanks!

  • Should have been a new band minus the legacy name. Noel might have hung around and made more tunes. As much as I love E&TB, this was a better group of song writers. You should check out their EP after this one, right after they got kicked off their label. That stuff was excellent (Prove Me Wrong, Fine Thing, etc.).

  • In some distant galaxy E&TB are gods (with Ian, of course).

  • Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • For me this was the very best Echo and the Bunnymen album, the music seemed to have so many layers to it, not just this song, I kept waiting for their second with Noel, but it never came, so sad

  • Reminds me of the Beatles later work, which I very much enjoy. The song is pretty good, but I stil think that the songs were way more dramatic when Ian was singing. It's all a matter of taste, there is no right or wrong about who was the better front man, but in my opinion i liked them with Ian.

  • Not a bad tune at all, nice strings!

  • Oops, it should have read: "My arms are like two SHIP yard cranes that may not work again . . ." That's what I get for trying to type too fast and whilst at work; double shame! My apologies for screwing up great lyrics!

  • "My arms are like two shio yard cranes they may not work again . . . " Oh, this was another great song on this album! Noel Burke should have gotten the recognition that he so-well deserved! I can only hope now with the power of the Net and You Tube that he sees that there were people out there that really liked and cared for him and could have cared less about this whole Ian/Noel thing - B.F.D. I will always admire him for his talent and that fabulous voice of his! I hope he is doing well!!

  • I had no idea Ian wasn't on this album until I just saw these comments. If I would have never saw this I would still never have known. Sounds plenty enough like Ian to make you forget. Sounds JUST as good, and in my opinion, these album blows the doors off all other EATBM albums by a long shot!!!!!! WAAAAAAY better.

  • "tapping a new vein to get a musical fix, Echo has the blend i needed to be inspired for music again..."

  • actually...i dug the shit out of this album. it is solid, yeah I KNOW no Ian...

little bit more glossy than the typical E&tB effort, as it was the early 90's Manchester, Charlatans, Stone Roses era...

It is pretty heavy in spots, great production AND I KNOW...no Ian.

    Just saying.

  • @buchanjared you dug it because you have great taste in music. do NOT be ashamed!

  • ok,isn't ian but i think it's a very good song.

  • I actually don't mind these songs (as much as it is taboo in Bunnyland) but they're not as good as Mac in my opinion.Mac tells the story that Sergeant told him that he was carrying on with the Bunnymen name and he gave the example of Mud as a band who carried on with a new singer..I mean come on! There's a good reason this sank without trace and like Sergent said no-one was interested in Bunnymen without mac. After the last effort, they should call it a day. Liking the Beatles isn't a problem!

  • sounds like the furs a bit. but great song.

  • Hey Jo Menz... Could you post

"Cut and Dried?" It was on this album.

  • I was only luke-warm about EATBM until this album. Honestly, it's not REALLY the same w/o Ian... it's BETTER. Too bad they only did one album with this lineup. All the other albums with Ian pale to this one.

  • @rockgardner hahaha...behave. You heard Crocodiles? Heaven up Here? OCEAN RAIN!

  • @Soulinisolation1 yes, many times... and I have them all. But I've listened to Reverberation more than all the others combined. Reverberation is not really an EATBM album, they should have changed the name, they might still be around. IMHO, I like it better than the rest. You have your taste, I have mine. I like the Beatles better, is that a problem too?

  • I stole this CD from my friend. Still have it after all these years, and I'm not a bit sorry. This was a great album.

  • Love this band. They have a great retro sound going. :)

  • lyrics and melody, great tune!

  • Thanks for posting this. Agreed w/ dakaranandayo, a very underrated album. Doomed by following the consumate original in Ian. Great song.

  • this album is hugely underrated imho

  • LIsten in stereo headphones...class song!

    Thanks!

  • ok, as mac says, this is echo n the bogusmen! hated it at the time... But... interesting nonetheless...

  • lo mejor con este perro
