umm... if thats what i think it is... couple highway tractor tires off a drive, still bolts to the drum and hub... looking at roughly...ohhh...500lbs or so? maybe the pump attendant legally couldnt help the man with first aid and ran to call 911? wasnt there so i can't say... just saying think about what you don't see too?

the same thing happened a few years off 287 in nj studs broke on a trailer and a pair of rollin 24.5's came and killed a dot worker cleaning up trash. seen the aftermath like 4 mins after it happened. alot of these stud failures come from poor road conditions, and even tho studs over time get beat up, if there not broke they wont get replaced untill they actually snap.but by then its to late
Yep, definitly not funny, but just plain crazy. How does a vehicle lose a tire like this? Bad maintnance. If people would just take care of their autos then this kind of stuff wouldn't happen.

there's one case of a trailer lose a tire and kill a doctor i think. It's scary. The truck driver wouldn't even realize he lost a tire until he stop.
