  • Who sings this song?

  • @TheSolito111

    Meat Loaf.

  • @TheConciseStatement thank you...Its a very sexy song. This the 'Baby Making' Music if u catch my drift lol

  • @TheConciseStatement Meat Loaf, huh?

    good one

  • @TheConciseStatement Meatloaf? Are you sure?

  • what a beast of a film

  • let the downfall begin

  • pierce brosnan..the best bond ever...

  • it sounds like sheryl crow is getting stabbed in the neck

  • @ckullik1

Like a drinks machine in the desert, that's just a mirage borne from wishful thinking on your part.

  • For Q i say Cleese if they have brought back Judi Dench or failing that i would fall over myself laughing with David Mitchell.

  • such a good bond song. this movie in my opinion was the last great bond film. all the others since then have just been mediocre at best. tomorrow never dies had that james bond "swag" whereas the most recent ones have too many product placements, no gadgets, etc..Brosnan was better than Craig.

  • love the song, I love the theme of the opening too!!!!

  • Tommorow Never Dies and Goldeneye was Pierce's best films, the world is not enough is okay and tommorow never dies is mediocre. But i like all of the bind films with Pierce, he's the best by far.

  • The best bond film is tomarrow never dies

  • Sometimes they use too many girls in the intro and less bond.

  • THANKS for adding these wonderful spectacular opening title sequences for us diehard BOND fans! GOOD JOB!!!

  • @CoyoteTex

Cheers. I'd have added more sequences if YouTube wasn't tearing them down just as quickly.

  • my fav bond's bond i think this one is the best after live and let die.

  • @joub007 I think this one is by far the best

  • darlin im killed im in a puddle on the floor...sick lyrics!!

  • This intro makes me horny!

  • daniel craig never dies!

  • Dull and forgettable Bond theme, but still listenable. QofS theme was just plain painful to sit through, especially after the great Casino Royale theme sung by Cornell.

  • when pierce brosnan 007 movies first started coming out was the best days of my life. I remember the good times i would sit down with my cuzins watching it and playing his games right after. i just wish it would go back to those days. tobad pierce brosnan had to quit being james bond :"(

  • oh man I watch this video every day, I love it . Thanks for putting it up :)

  • I remember ,when I went to the Movie theater to watch Titanic but all tickets were sold out so I decided to watch Tommorow Never Dies and year later I watched Titanic on TV I said to myself I was glad that I didnt get to watch Titanic on that day.

  • i love this song, matter of fact this movie was the best james bond i seen other than casino ROYAL... but i like music like this real catchy ! :D

  • What botheres me most is that Q isnt in the new james bond films :(

  • @MityLite

Yeah we were just talking about that. Bring back John Cleese please!

  • @TheConciseStatement Oh sorry I didnt see the comments below but still...

  • @MityLite

Agreed. And after the utterly humourless Quantum of Solace, if anything the franchise needs to lighten up a bit. The Q scenes always do that and Cleese is great in them.

  • @MityLite i'm wondering if either Q Died or He Quitted and what realy bothers me is that they even replaced him in Die Another Day

  • @MdMedia21

The World is not Enough makes it fairly clear that Q is retiring, not dying. In either case, are you saying that you'd prefer they just didn't have a Q? Cos that's exactly what they've done in the Daniel Craig films.

  • @TheConciseStatement yah it sad the old Q was awesome he was in every James Bond movie up till The World Is Not Enough another thing is that Daniel Craig is the worst Bond ever and they made James Bond to much into a drama now

  • @DarthRevanist

I don't think he's in Dr. No or Live and Let Die, Darth. He appears in From Russia with Love but without much personality. Q truly becomes the loveable grump constantly irritated by Bond in Goldfinger.

  • @TheConciseStatement No, he was in Dr. No, it just wasn't Desmond Llewelyn.

  • @TheGuyThatsAwesome

I meant Llewellyn's Q. I was genuinely on two minds whether to refer to the original Q in parenthesis but thought it'd just be showing off. Should've stuck a big red countdown in the comments section! XD

  • @DarthRevanist Well it's not Craigs choice. He even wants to see Q in his next movie.

  • @DarthRevanist actually if you read the bond books craig plays an awesome version of (reckless bond) connery plays the best bond with the suave and intimidation that an agent should have. brosnan played a modern version of connery and didnt do too bad. in conclusion connery wins with runner up brosnan followed by craig

  • @TheConciseStatement They may bring him back or at least Q Branch in a more realistic form in the next movie. Daniel Craig wants to have him in.

  • @Mizuioken

If they insist on ditching John Cleese, then David Mitchell would make an absolutely fantastic younger Q.

  • @MdMedia21 he did die unfortunately......

  • it sucks that pierce brosnan's last bond film was turned into a POS video game instead of a movie :/ (who ever thought of that should be shot repeatedly and left to die)

  • @ShindaDesu

IMHO Quantum of Solace was much worse. Whether you like the comic book vision of Die Another Day, it was a lot more consistent in tone. Solace was all over the place. All the action sequences bored me. The plot was incoherent and inconsequential. (Die Another Day's was certainly the latter but it was pretty simple and had no pretensions of self-importance.)

  • @TheConciseStatement i dont really like craigs bond films, they lack the bond feel and have more of a bourne feeling :/ no futuristic gadgets, no john cleese. very big disappointments to those who truly respect the franchise. (i watched pretty much all the bond films and craig's was the only one i fell asleep at.)

  • @ShindaDesu

Oh, no John Cleese! They hired him for two films and then told him to piss off again. That was depressing. Irrespective of your opinions of Die Another Day, you had to love Cleese's Q in it.

  • @TheConciseStatement no i liked all brosnans films, i didntl like craigs 2 bond films XD (i love halley barry XD)

  • @ShindaDesu

You really didn't like Casino Royale? Part of the reason I hated Quantum of Solace was because I felt it cheapened the groundwork of the previous film. Craig isn't MY Bond - that will always be Brosnan - but I do appreciate him doing what Dalton attempted back in the late 80s, and as ever, with the right script it works and when it doesn't it, it doesn't. For me, they're following a similar pattern too - I loved their first, I hated their second, and now financial troubles kick in.

  • @TheConciseStatement craigs first wasnt horrible, but i didnt feel it was great D: it was supposed to be bonds first mission, but it created so many time paradoxes. but i did like the free running bit.

  • @ShindaDesu

Fair enough. I think Royale is a bit too long and it's not as good as GoldenEye. I wouldn't worry about paradoxes though. The only film so far to logically follow after the other is Quantum of Solace. The rest are pretty much unrelated films. That's why no one really cares that Bond tries to pass himself off in front of Blofeld in On Her Majesty's Secret Service, even though they've already met face to face in You Only Live Twice. (That and the fact he's been in his 40s since 1962!)

  • @TheConciseStatement hahah, true :D

  • Awful song! Not Bond at all!

  • @thx113875 awful bond songs were the two new openings :/ no dancing girls at all (whats up with that?)

  • ... satellites are my artillery.

  • Who's the girl at 2:15 ?

  • Martinis, Girls And Guns

Those 4 Words Describe The James Bond Movies Perfectly

  • @Bren4Blox you forgot the cars XD!

  • Best Bond title sequence ever and maybe best Bon FILM ever.

  • The audio on this sounds altered - the recording I've got for the song isn't nearly as shrill/whiny. But hooray for it being on YouTube nonetheless!

  • @inrii

It's really just about what each country's used to. If you're used to PAL versions NTSC ones sound way too deep, and if you're used to NTSC versions then the PAL ones are too squawky and high pitched.

In any case, most people can't replicate the sound mixes they hear in the cinema, which in my opinion are getting even worse, with it becoming very hard to make out sections of dialogue amidst the loud score and sound effects, until one watches it in their scaled down setup at home.

  • This movie has British and Chinese agents working together stop the evil plan of the forces of the media. Awesome.

  • this was freakin awsome this was by far the best part of the movie

  • Tomorrow NEVER dies

  • @barthoedemaker I... believe you.

  • kd lang's Surrender should have remain the main title song.

  • Agh.... Can Crow scream any more out of tune?

  • This wasn't my favorite Bond movie, but I can say this is my favorite introduction sequence in the series.

  • There is only one Bond

    Connery

  • I always thought this theme was underrated

  • best theme ever

  • He acted in 4 bond movies, not 2.

  • Pierce Brosnan put the charm and smoothness in the character. He put the "James bond" in Agent 007. one of the best actors of the character ahead of sean connery and roger moore. the current guy is a good actor but he took out the charm and protrays more of a ruthless assassin than a special agent. and no, pierce brosnan acted in 4 bond movies - goldeneye, tomorrow never dies, the world is not enough, and die another day.

  • How come this movie is never consistent with its guns? In some scenes, Bond has a suppressed guns and others he doesn't? Is there a reason all these guys keep switching back and forth with their guns, suppressed and unsuppressed.

  • pierce was my fav bond.

  • Bland theme for a Bond film, her voice is way to weak. The end credits with k.d.lang singing Surrender is pure Bond ! Why they went with Crow's version is beyond me.

  • eehhh...not sure about this theme song, but this is one of my top favorite bond films

  • All the bonds have there specialities like Craig:Action

    Brosnan:Wiits

    Moore:humour

    Connery:intelligence

  • Wow in Metal Gear Solid: Snake eater the theme is very similar to James Bond Intros

  • This was Pierce Brosnan's best Bond film.

  • Good call. Had a couple more Bond flicks left in him if you ask me.

  • who the hell sings this song?????????

  • Sheryl Crow

  • best intro song (by Sheryl Crow), 2nd best Bond film (next to Goldeneye 007), best actor (Pierce Brosnan) to portray

    Bond. James Bond

  • GoldenEye 007 was the N64 video game.

  • lol well just to clarify, I was referring to the FILM obviously and NOT the video game. although the video game happens to be awesome as well that is why I own both of them

just wanted to include the '007' in there for added effect, know what I mean?

  • Can't say I do.

But I'm glad you like them. Pierce's legacy is having a hard time of it now that the public has accepted Daniel Craig's reshaping of the role. Bond fans have very short memories given that they found Pierce to be indispensable just four years ago. I still think it was a very stellar performance from him.

  • Ahoy! All Malaysians! Catch James Bond: Tomorrow Never Dies tonight 2/16 airing 11pm, TV2 (Radio Television Malaysia)!! if any part cuts, it's not my problem! Watch out!

  • amazing song and video

    thnx

  • No problem. I'll be sad when this one gets taken down.

  • I wonder how long it will be til the hardcore fans really appreciate Pierce Brosnan's Bond films?

  • Well this is one fan that thinks Brosnan was the best Bond since Connery.

I think the jury's still out on Daniel Craig but he's doing a pretty good job so far.

BTW, I hope the Copywrite Trolls don't shut this video down. I don't know how many times I've Favorited these Bond intros only to have them blocked. Honestly, does anyone seriously think we're gonna buy the DVD just to see the opening credits?

  • Count me in as pro-Brosnan too.

And I'm probably most annoyed about my Return of the King credits upload. The comments board there was gushing with responses about the artwork and how well the adaptation was in general. It eventually got removed as well.

  • Don't forget Dalton, even Desmond Llewelynn said that he was the closest representation to the Ian Flemming books. But whether it be Connery, Moore, Dalton, Brosnan, or Craig Bond still rules!

  • Yes, Dalton was really trying to do what Daniel Craig did 20 years earlier. They just wouldn't give him strong enough material to work with (though The Living Daylights does have a lot going for it).

And they could never work out how to make Dalton funny without being camp or silly, a problem the writers solved in the excellent Casino Royale. (In my opinion Quantum of Solace is a major backwards step, and an utterly humourless film.)

  • Dalton was my fave bond, Tiss a shame he only had 2 movies.

  • They came very close to continuing with him as well but the legal dispute just went on too long.

  • @NANOFORGE I feel the same way. I always thought I was the only one. Dalton was like the midpoint between Brosnan and Craig.

  • Quantum did have one or two funny parts, mainly where the one guy says "You were supposed to kill her!" Bond- "Well I missed!" and knocks him off the bike.

  • @TheConciseStatement, I definitely agree. Dalton can sometimes get a lot of crap for his Bond movies and how gritty and less flashy they were than the previous movies, but I really think that what they were trying to do with Dalton in the role was ahead of the times for the character.

  • @EchoBoomer1987 Exactly! I hate it when people fight over who's better. Moore's good but he's too funny. Connery will always be awesome but he's too overrated when it comes to Bond films. I personally like Dalton, Brosnan, and Craig because Dalton and Craig are closest to the books, and Brosnan b/c I grew up with his portrayal of Bond. GoldenEye was the 1st Bond movie I've seen as a kid and I didn't know it was a whole series of movies back then, so I thought Brosnan TRULY was James Bond. lol.

  • @EchoBoomer1987 What about George Lazenby - very good fight scenes - classic line in the film when he breaks the fourth wall (sort of ) and says "this never happened to the other guy"

  • @sortedevaras I appreciate them right now bro (sis?).

  • @sortedevaras

Well this is one Hard Core Fan who thinks Brosnan is the best since Connery.

Not as good as, but number 2.

  • @sortedevaras i love craig but pierce is the best bond ever by far. pierce is kind of more bond than the others.

  • One of the better bond films and without a doubt one of my personal favorite intros and songs.

  • 2:12 whos that girl

  • up to 0:09 is cool

  • song from quantum of solace is the worst of the bond songs ever!!!

  • @PopkosCZ No. The worst ever was Die Another Day

  • @PopkosCZ Quantum's song was not very good I agree. Kind of grows on you though. THe film was good humourless is good and it really reminded me of the 60's when everyone knew that Sean was JB and the tension was high. Had the look of the 60's too - a bit raw and not overdone. THe fight scenes were brutally honest too, none of this getting punched ion the face 14 times and hopping up and wiping the bblood away from your split lip.

  • @PopkosCZ anything starring Daniel Crutch is the worst in something

  • Great song, too bad she cannot sing it

  • Yo she definitely killed this song...Best bond theme so far...and most of them are great. (Quantum sucked)

  • it seems like they speed up the music for the intros... the pitch is different

  • what Bond movie DIDN'T have a great intro song and video??? They are all awesome!!!

  • That's interesting pyfutura. Usually everyone has at least one they can't stand. Madonna's Die Another Day is certainly the most divisive one I can think of. Many Bond fans hated it, but lots of non-Bond fans loved it, so it's up for debate whether the song achieved what they wanted it to.

  • i don't know :-? madonna's die another day seemed apropried for the intro of the movie :-? and i liked it alot even if it's quite commercial

  • yeah I know some people didn't like this song... I liked the Madonna track, but the Alicia Keys & Jack White one from QoS was horrid to me.

  • And also another way day also!

  • the only Bond songs I didn't really like were: From Russia with Love, All Time High (Octopussy), You Know My Name (Casino Royale), and Another Way to Die (Quantum of Solace)

  • @ThePotatoProductions how can you not like you know my name its an awsome sng

  • @ThePotatoProductions All time high was amazing for Octopussy.

  • Well i'm a Bond fan, and i like pretty much all the songs that i can remember.

Been a while since i've watched a Bond movie.

The World Is Not Enough, is one of my favs.

  • I love The World Is Not Enough. That opening boat chase knocks the one in Quantum of Solace for six.

You know, the best description I read of Bond's predicament in TWINE is that he thinks he's found Tracy but instead gets Blofeld. That always made me smile. And no disrespect to Donald Pleasance but I can see why his bedroom scenes with Pierce were cut.

  • lol i wish he actually killed ernst blofield ocne or soemthing instead of jsut taking SPECTRE out completely

  • @TheConciseStatement are you cross refrencing bond villians? it's been a while since i ve run through my collection, Donald Pleasance is in TWINE? or am i mistaken. I hate not clueing into references. read what you said about kd langs version, have to agree. think the songs are where they belong.

  • Nah, I read an article once that summed up Bond's predicament as thinking Elektra is another Tracy Di Vicenzo, but she turns out to be much closer to Blofeld - and I was just joking by pondering the prospect of a Pierce and Pleasance love scene. I guess in some ways though, Robert Carlyle's Renard is like a modern day Blofeld.

  • The only one I can think of is Die Another Day. Not saying the song wasn't great... it just was so different, it didnt seem like it fit in as well.

  • This is one of my favorite Bond songs.

  • ...at 0:36 the woman's finger looks like a dick... o_O

  • I agree. A teeny weeny peeny.

  • Meh, this title is beaten easily by The World is Not Enough, Casino Royale, Goldeneye, and others...

  • best bond film ever!

  • A Great Bond Film.

  • 0:11 i love the part up to about 0:11 dun- dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dundundunduuun

  • This bond movie was really good

  • @weyoun2006 oh yeah..! james bond is so powerfull with girls..

  • Legendary

  • Tomorrow Never Dies was great and underrated Bond movie. Pierce Brosnan shines as always. Michelle Yeoh was great - maybe the strongest Bond Girl. She could kick Bond's ass too. Jonathan Pryce was great villain. Teri Hatcher should have had much more screen time.

I also love K.D.Lang's theme song - really unique performance

  • i know this is my fav bond film

  • The KD Lang song is awesome!

  • For Pierces vision of bond, she is actually the best next to the girl in Goldeneye but the best has to be the one from Live and Let Die. I think shes the best bond girl of all.

  • there is a CD you can buy of the bond songs (i have it) of the movies. It is by all the original artists. It is GREAT!

  • I just love the opening of this song! I JUST LOVE IT!

  • Listening to the CD version of this, I have to say that the movie one and the recorded one are quite different -- this one is definitely more nasally and lower quality.

I /love/ the CD version, but yeah, this one is a bit lacking in comparison. It's still a good song -- and a great vocalist.

  • I'm baffled by the negative reactions this song receives. This is one of my favorite Bond songs. I especially like when she lets it rip for the chorus.

  • The chicks' voice is nasally and pinched, it's not sung very well, that may have something to do with it

  • i dunno she sounds sexy maybe a bit toonasaly but the problem is its not memorable

  • 'Toonas-', 'toonasal-' what?! 'Tonsily'? Tonsil?! Tonsil? As in to do with her tonsils?

  • sorry i meant too nasaly!

  • LOL XD Of all the possible ways to read that, it never occurred to me that it was two words! (My fault - blind as a bat.)

  • This was the first Bond I saw in the cinema and I love it.

  • me too.

  • Underrated song, wonderful opening sequence.

  • agreed

  • This (plus The World Is Not Enough and Casino Royale) is possibly my favorite opening, visually, of them all and the film was imaginative in its plot and action. I like Goldeneye better, but I have to remember what was so fresh about Goldeneye was seeing Bond coping in a post-Cold War era which wasn't fresh. I agree, the X-ray of the pistol is awesome. Alice Cooper did a rendition for The Man With The Golden Gun but that song wasn't used, though it was bad ass.

  • Great Bond movie. Great Villain, Great Henchman, Cool Music, good Locations and big action.

  • This one may not be as good as Goldeneye, but its way up there with the best bond films ever made.

  • I actually like it more than GoldenEye. It's the film that I essentially grew up with. Is the script as strong - probably not. But in terms of sheer, relentless and imaginative action, I still don't see another Bond film that matches it 12 years on.

  • def my favorite bond flick.

  • The x ray of the bullet entering the chamber never cease to make me go "Cool..."

  • 1997!? Whoa it's been so long. I saw this in theatres. That means I was only 7. That's weird because I remember being older and watching the bond movies for the first time.

  • I know man. Tempus fugit indeed.

  • personally my fav title seqeence, maybe not movie, but title sequence

  • It sounds to much like the perry mason theme

  • you're right, there is something similar.

I prefer the song of The world is not enough

  • Excellent title sequence; I love the way they've used the (then) modern technology to produce something that looks really fresh, original and modern yet totally retains the spirit and feel of the classic Bond title sequences.

Still stands up very well 12 years later; about the only thing I could nitpick is that the computer figure has a slightly too obviously CGI feel to it.

Oh yeah, and I thought the song was pretty decent as well, especially in context.

  • to be honest i think CGI technology has come far enough to say that anything CGI related looks real

in my opinion when i see anything CGI it looks fake. i hope im proven wrong in the next 30 years or so

  • So you think "anything CGI related looks real" or that when you, "see anything CGI it looks fake"? Is the first sentence a typo?

  • typo

and i realise it sounds silly after i typed it

what i mean is for me personally, MOST things that are CGI just look fake to me

  • It's true that CG creates an artificial glossiness that you just don't get with old school effects like models and animatronics. And you get a depth of field with lighting that the flatness of CG can't give you.

However, we can be a tad unforgiving. Our eyes now casually dismiss the impossible, even if the SFX are quite good. When the car spins in the tunnel in Die Hard 4.0, everyone cried "CG!", but apparently it was a composite of a real car.

And I felt WETA's work on King Kong was superb.

  • In '97 people were probably like "WOW THATS AWESOME" just like Jurassic park and such. CG is so common place today, if it isen't really well done, we can tell it's fake and cheap and our eyes pick it out as such.

  • Absolutely! Awesome music video, amazing women (Sheryl Crow).

  • Love this song....

  • you altered with the audio or something
