  • Bobby orr is the man and i agree with the guy from toronto

  • HOW THE FUCK DO YOU DISLIKE THIS VIDEO????? WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE????

  • Great Video~ Hey guys,HAVE A LOOK on my awesome Bobby Orr 1973-1974 vintage jersey. youtube.com/watch?v=8fT_02IPoWg

  • goal by bobby orr

  • they skate fast back then.

  • Everyone has to shut there mouth about trashing this goal or ORR.

  • GO BOBBY'

    O O AND I AGREE

  • @tstreck18 YEAAHHHH

  • It's time to put an end to the myth of this goal once and for all. Orr DID NOT score this goal while in the air. If he had, it would've been one hell of a goal. But as it is, it was a nice goal, but as far as the goal itself, nothing special. It was a good goal, a pass out front then Orr shot it in the corner, a type of goal that happens every night in the NHL. Nystrom's cup-winner in '80 was a nicer and more difficult play. Hell, Arnott's winner in '00 was a much nicer and harder goal to score.

  • You have a tremendous grasp of the obvious.

Most real hockey fans know he wasn't in the air when he shot the puck, that's not the issue.

It was the play he made keeping the puck in the zone, making the pass & getting to the net in position to score that summed up #4's Greatness.

  • The best picture of a goal celebration ever. 20+ years since winning a cup. Overtime!! A defenseman!! A beauty give and go. The greatest goal ever..nope..the greatest celebration of a goal ever..yup. By the way..there was no myth, any true hockey fan knows the reality. Also it was game 4 of a 4-0 sweep..no real pressure. But what a lasting iconic pic. We are still talking about it 39 years later.

  • he got his skate tripped up by thge d-man.......have a closer look...eh......go bruins

  • BRIGHT UNIT

  • it was a good goal but orr put it in before he jumped

  • who cares

  • I would jump too if I'd just scored an overtime goal that won my team the cup for the first time in almost 40 years..go Bobby..the greatest to ever lace on a pair of blades!

  • yeah..Great player..and i would have jumped but people around the world think he put it in while in mid air...but he jumped because he scored the goal

  • @a3her too bad he got tripped dumbass

  • @a3her amen

  • lol let me see you trip and score thts what makes him good, idiots

  • It doesnt matter if it win the cup it still was a half decent goal because him getting tripped wasnt part of the goal..

  • the game has got to go back to helmetless pros

  • You people are insane. First off, yeah it's shit quality that's the 1970's for you. Secondly, I don't care if there was a preschooler in a a 20-ft net and he had a jetpack on the puck. The goal won the cup in OT. It was scored by a player I and many others hold to be the best there ever was. And it's overrated? IT WON THE CUP

  • It was a great moment seeing him fly in the air with the stanley cup winner, but the goal overall wasnt that good.

  • Yes, the goal was a simple give-and-go, but the iconic image of Orr sailing through the air afterwards is a classic. It's truly unforgettable.

  • That's the thing Mark, it was so amazing that he got tripped and scored, idiot.

  • This goal is so over rated. If he didnt get tripped it would barely ever be talked about.

  • your crazy...your focused in to the fact that he got tripped, everyone else also sees that he won the stanley cup with that goal, you douche

  • This goal is so over rated. If Bobby Orr didnt get tripped after he scored this goal would barely ever be talked about. Horrible quality..

  • Do you know anything about anything? Because you seem to have no idea how great this goal is, stop living under a rock you idiot.

  • i CANNOT see a bog-darned thing in there.

is this something you'd have to be canadian to appreciate?

  • The game's best player ever - #4 Bobby Orr. With all due respect to the likes of Gretkzy, Howe, Kharlamov, Lafleur, Messier, etc. Bobby Orr could do it all.

  • shit qulity but nice goal

  • shit quility

  • the best scoring defenceman... one could argue the best...

that was the most amazing goal though... and even on a broken ankle? was it?

  • orr ... the best, period!!

  • it's great having this on Youtube...even my 7 year old has heard of Bobby Orr

  • I was six years old when this happened. It's remained one of my fondest childhood memories. Bobby Orr will always be the greatest player of all time.

  • wow how wonderful to see the tv call of this, the most memorable goal in modern hockey history .. thanks for posting!
