@TheAirForceNinja Brent decided to end the show after the 6th season because he wanted it to end on top of it's game rather then slowly loosing viewers over many following seasons then being canceled. I am really quite happy with the decision as I would hate to have seen this show start to get worse.

It might be worth mentioning Kiefer's Saskatchewan connection. His parents are Donald Sutherland and Shirley Douglas. Shirley Douglas' parents were Tommy Douglas and Irma Dempsey. Tommy Douglas (premier of Sask.) may be one of the most influencial Candians in history for introducing universal health care in Canada.

Kiefer's mother, Shirley, played Peg in 'Trees a crowd' in season 3 of Corner Gas.
