  • I love Loretta Lynn. And THAT is coming from a 16 year old. I'm learning her music to sing. She is amazing(:

  • a song my mummy sang to my daddy...25 yrs ago!!

  • @cruiserbitch72

no one gives a shit you faggot

  • I LOVE LORETTA LYNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE FIRST LADY OF COUNTRY IS AWESOME

  • When you look at Loretta Lynn, patsy Cline .........Look at the class they have not only do they have Beautiful voices (one of a Kind) but they shone on stage with their classy outfits that is what i call performers you get 1st class all the way.

  • so funny when ppl say today's country is POP... ppl truly don't have a clue what POP really is... FYI Loretta was criticized in her day for being to 'pop' as well as Barbara Mandrell, yet it was mostly because they were women taking charge of the what they sang about and were progressive but POP,, not so much.... I agree that the steel guitar is missing to a degree but just because it's missing doesn't make country music pop.. it just means not EVERY country singer needs to sound like this

  • @leftfieldmind Maybe every country singer doesn't have to sound like this. But, there is no true, blue country anymore. The singers trying to sing country now, are a very poor imitation, almost a bad joke compared to the old stuff. Reminds me of George Jones' song, " whose gonna fill their shoes"....

  • i am one of your top fan and we LOVE YOU

  • I LOVE ME SOME LORETTA LYNN.. if yall listen to country music and Blues.. U might learn something...lol

  • And Tammy sitting there on the couch, singing along. Fantastic.

  • I sing this to my husband sometimes, although lately our marriage has deteriorated to the point where there is no more lovin....

  • @MySnaz

    Is he a boozer?

  • @sarahaudrey03 Not anymore.

  • Loretta and Conway Twitty together are one of the best duets in contry music. I wish country music would go back to COUNTRY music and not the BS they try to pull off today ... I mean really who cares if she thinks ur tractor is sexy !

  • love it~~~

    thanks for sharing~~~

  • Two drinks per day for adult male should be enough as doctor said to me. If i hide away a bottle for a weekdays i can have it all on Saturday eve, i recon

  • best there is

  • Goddamn...You can't find shit like this anymore.....GOLD!

  • Not sure where or when, but that is definitely a set, observe the details and you can tell.

  • love it!!!

  • Look at that little tiny waist!! I'm so jealous! lol

Does anyone know whose house this was in??

  • It seems like a set, instead of a house to me. I could be wrong though.

  • I think this was taken from a performance on the Dinah Shore show. The set looks familiar to me, but that has been a few years ago.

  • LORETTA'S THE BEST & SO IS THIS SONG.

  • She and Patsy were great friends and she was heart broken when Patsy died

  • I'm on a quest to watch all my favorites from the Golden Age of Country Time Life list.

I love this video! There's Miss Tammy Wynette on the sidelines singing along with Miss Loretta Lynn! So sweet.

Miss Loretta is the Reigning Queen of Country Music. She always looked so pretty and had the most beautiful dresses and gowns on when she would perform. I love this song. It's sung by the good girl who stayed home while her man went out honky tonking with the "bad girls"! Thanks for this vid!

  • @Greenestgurl

Classy all the way..there doesn't seem to be that in Country anymore..

  • AH-MEN !! You sing it Loretta!!!

  • Beautiful!!!

  • she is a queen but no a better queen then patsy cline .

  • Tammy and Loretta were best friends. They both had been thru hell, and developed a great friendship.

  • Turn it up

  • The REAL queen of country and western

  • i know what you mean about the steel. we in new zealand have guys that think the steel is played thru the song NOT when its needed

  • I was a steel player in the 70s and tried to learn the licks of Hal Rugg (Loretta Lynn) and John Hughey (Conway Twitty) Yeah, the music was great. I do not think the steel has gained popularity in the past 30 years, it's just as much a mystery as when I first got one in the early 70s. I gave it up and went bluegrass but I miss my steel!!!

  • bring back the steel

  • The "Steel Guitar" is missing in todays country music. Well, I forgot todays country is (Pop) not real country anyway. Sure do miss the classic sound.

  • Real country was never on FM and never in stereo

  • @RadioReporter01 - A crazy idea, but maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea for small broadcasters to obtain underperforming AM radio stations and turn them classic country; particularly in outlying and rural areas.

  • @BlistardPussy amen

  • how true!!!!

  • how true!!!!

  • one of her classics try her album, you ain't woman enough, they are all great songs on it

  • I grew up listening to old country music. and she is one of them! SHE'S THE BEST!! I love HER!!! hehe; I knew her songs by ♥

  • she has came sooo far and i love her [in my cousion way]

  • I can't believe she stayed with Doo all those years. He's in a lot of her songs, like this one.

  • Have you read her second autobiography? I think it's called Still Woman Enough. Anyway she talks a lot about Doolittle. He was mean and abusive quite often. When she talks about when he passed away, it's so touching. She says that as he slipped away she didn't have a single hard feeling toward him. She's an incredible lady.

  • Don't come home a drinkin' or I'll cut your prick off. LOL.

  • LMAO! agreed

  • Now is that what you do when thyere foolin around? lol

  • I guess we all can relate to some of these singers of the 60's, 70's & 80's.

  • Grew up with her in my home along with, Tammy, George, Patsy, you name it in country we were listening! Nothing like Southern People
