This tutorial was v helpful since I learned that I need to mix the putty better (i.e. no lines, smoother) before I place the item to be molded into it, to use more of the putty when making a mold and not to push the mold item in to deeply & not to 'mess' with the mold once it's setting. Tx because this stuff isn't cheap in the US.
Is there a UK stockist of Easymold ? I've just finished using some silcone putty I bought ages ago and need to find a supplier, the stuff i used was a different make but seems to be the same stuff
Excellent video. Can you tell me where you got your EasyMold in the UK? I can't seem to find any. I've got a pack of the Suze Weinberg stuff but it was expensive for a very small quantity and I need more than that.
Easy Mold does not require any baking, once it has dried on the object, it is ready to use.

do you bake it to harden or is it done after tye five minutes or is it air dry over night?

From a market, it is just a cheap plastic button bought for less than 50p. Try haberdashery stores, market stalls, or even charity shops.

Yes you can put hot wax into the moulds, silicone is pretty heat resistant.

could you put hot wax into the molds? thanks

Fingers work brilliantly, particularly if you oil them slightly. Don't overheat the plastic and it won't be too hot to handle.

what did you use to push the friendly plastic in? your finger?

Depends on the size of the mould. I easily made about 15 -20 moulds from buttons using one package of Easymold.

Nice vid. Btw I wonder how many molds can we make out of one package?

Not sure where you heard that from but this stuff is not toxic, it is designed to be used to mould with. Wash your hands after use.

I here the silicone putty is extremely toxic to skin.
