I'm wondering if trails that are damaged by ATVs ever restore themselves if the abuse stops; in other words, does the soil recompact or is it forever loosened?
The PATH train was crowded last time I went to the city. It's the best deal in town, and still offers 1-day unlimited passes. HBLR wasn't crowded, but needs to run 24/7. Metropark is a rip-off, for both the parking and the ride in to NY-Penn. Parking along the HBLR is good, but lack of service from 1am- 5am discourages many from parking there. Why isn't parking allowed from 2:30am-4am at Grove St on Newark Light Rail? NJT Rail, LIRR, and MNR fares are too high.

Now Nice comes in and is facing the fiscal reality, we'll see how they handle the situation but give them a chance they have only recently taken over the operation.
Give them some credit, if they didn't take over and keep things running, even on a limited basis, the buses may not be running at all eventually.

I think they are cutting back in all areas of operation concerning the Mta so they are not printing as many paper schedules.
This situation is financially complex because LI Bus was running a deficit for so many years. The fares were kept so low as a result of taxpayer money partially financing the operation, they never made a profit, or at least hadn't in quite some time.
Couple that with exorbitant salaries and pensions and it was destined to fail
@Rafathaman94 It gets very humid and damp, so I put on the a/c to dry it out. Sometimes I have to run the a/c and heat at the same time to dry it out, otherwise I get mold and moldy food. Its an old building...
@PinePowerLI I hope it doesn't have aluminum electrical wiring. Aluminum electrical wiring is hysterically sensitive to temperature changes and this often results in loose connections, which creates excessive heat, which creates fire hazards.
