  • Is there some sort of neck rest gadget out there that takes the place of the fingers, so that we could just lay on it at home?

  • From someone who has had this done, I can say this is a most wonderful treatment - especially the traction afterwards! Think I'll call the RMT again.... :)

  • Funny what we chiropractors have been doing for 117 years is suddenly in the mainstream medical play book. Chiropractic has over 50 techniques both soft tissue and hard tissue. I wouldn't put my neck in the hands of someone who took a weekend course and called himself certified.

  • @chirovip58 And when these people who aren't skilled in the spine and nervous system injure a person, what is it reported as? "A chiropratictic manipulation injures.... Nebraska allows only a DC to perform spine work...pretty smart state huh?

  • cwolf...if you were a massage therapist or working in healthcare, you would know the underlying structures.

  • Excellent technique. I have used this for a few years now although my fingers only last about 2 minutes.

  • I like the look the guy gives'em at 0:23, made me laugh for some reason.

  • @yazid3848 Same here haha, I was wondering if anyone else noticed that.

  • It'd help if he used a skeleton model so folks would understand the underlying structures.

  • I have had this done in massage therapy in Leander, TX at Dr. Group's clinic.

  • This worked for me, but a neurologist did it. After the procedure I felt my brain had become refreshed....

I thought it was hooey, but it worked for me so now I believe it, and I am a hard ass skeptic...

  • Does this work for Occipital Neuralgia?

  • im slightly confused. what condition(s) is this indicated for. surely migraine is not directly related to myofascial/tension head pains

  • This technique is being used for stress related headaches, or muscle relax therapy. Migraine is being considered (only theories no evidence for..) as a vascular problem so, obviously this won't work.

  • Wow, I'm going to try this. It looks totally awesome. Maybe my partner and I can try it on eachother.

  • Anyone who has ever experienced this technique will tell you it is a nearly religious experience! I suffer migraines sometimes 4-5 times a week, and this is THE best way to chase those SOBs away...besides morphine!

  • Good info. Worth the view.
