  • @Arbornoctua Thank you buddy.

  • WOW, that looks awesome mate! How many molds was that and what was the the cost of them?

  • @Generalsplatton Hi General. Its made from two moulds. No70 & 77 from the range. It takes 18 casts from each mould to build the whole tower. Each mould is around £35 each. I bulk buy the Crystacsat in 25 kg bags for around £25. It lasts for ages. Including paint I am guessing it costs me around £15. The real killer is the casting and building times. Around 1 hour from starting one cast to moving onto the next set of pours in the same mould. Therefore, if I was GW I would charge £100/ tower. LOL

  • What glue are you using please? . Great tutorial . Thank you

  • @TheSeasonman1 Ever Build "Universal P.V.A. Bond. It is a builders adhesive that is normally found in builders merchants. However, i managed to pick up a bottle in the pound shop. Should have bought a lot more when it was available as it works really well and the builders merchants want a lot more than £1 for it.

  • you sayin lego isn't for grownups????

Question... what's with the different colours (ie. white, green, yellow)?

  • @MoreDakka101 I had tried adding ink to a few batches of bricks to die the brick a different colour other than white, so that if the paint got chipped you didn't notice it as much, but i ditched the process as it used far to much ink and left the the bricks far to pale a colour. The greenish coloured bricks came from the trial.

The yellow bricks are due an overspray from my airbrush when using them as weights to hold down a stencil

Lego is for everyone, my son now owns mine so hirst is my toy
