@TheRotciv98 Yep, but depending on your difficulty level, you will be limited on the number of saves you can perform. Easy has unlimited saves, Normal has 7 saves, and Hard has 3 saves...or maybe it's 7, 3, none...hm, can't remember. Either way, the harder your difficulty level, the less forgiving the game is--and the less save games you can use to retrace your steps!
But seriously, great videos, fucking love the hitman series and it's good to see the effort you put into your walkthroughs, nothing more satisfying in life than a perfectly executed kill and SA rank!

The game has a list of missions. Once you complete a mission, you can replay it any time you want.
While in a mission, you are given a large area that you are free to roam in order to complete the mission. This allows you to choose your own route to the target.
@carlosmits well u can get it for free on pc by downloading a hitman 2 folder then when download is done make a folder called Hitman 2 Silent Assassin and then extract the hitman download into the folder then click somthing and install it and then done

I left the rifle in the locker, I got out of the subway easily, changed clothes where you did, then I got in the building where the meeting had location. There I avoided the guards, I went upstairs, waited my moment, blasted through the door, killed the general with my silenced pistol, then got out before anyone could recognize me. Escape then was really easy, and I got the "Silent Assassin" valutation anyway. Pretty alternative! :-)
Jesus. I remember retrying this level over and over, because I didn't know where the sniper ammo was, then I looked in the locker and it was there all along.. X_X
@suryakiller There's a bug that can be exploited when picking locks and changing clothes. When you begin the action, open your map. For clothes, you can close the map immediately after, and you'll be good. For picking locks, sometimes you have to hold it open a brief second.
I try to avoid exploits when making walkthroughs, but sometimes I check my map by instinct, and it just happens.

I edited the video in Windows Movie Maker, which has simple special effects, such as increasing video speed. I recorded the video using FRAPS at normal speed, then altered the speed in certain parts of the video.

When I shot the same person you did, diana said I've shot the wrong one, and the misson failed, and now i'm trying again hoping I will pass this level and go on, tell me is there a special way to shot the target? @tedzxavier The highest rating is Silent Assassin. This is where you complete a mission with 100% Stealth, and no Aggression. The highest -difficulty- setting is Professional.
@tedzxavier If by double pistol SD you mean unlocking the Silenced Silverballers (dual), you simply need to complete a mission and earn the Silent Assassin rating. That's -one- single mission, with the Silent Assassin rating, and you'll get the two Silenced Silverballers!

a tip... the revolver (which you probably got from the first mission) can be used to snipe (it sounds wierd but its godly accurate). This give you the chance to not ditch your gun after sniping and you can pick up the dragnov as you exit the mission.

yeah,you did good..but you made some mistakes...when geting out of the building..keep the sniper rifle,or at least walk,don't run.don't change in costume when you go down the sewers,the uniform can help you if the guard in the subway saw you.you need to be a litlle more calm:)
My brother's way was to run above ground while no one was looking, get to one of the guards that was on his own, anaesthetise him, pick up his AK and go to the windows.
Instead of sniper just take the 9mm Pistol (non-suppressed) its accurate enough to shot him from the window, just use binoculars to make sure the other guy isn't leaning forward.
Depends what weapon u use if u have a sniper u can't hide it, for pistols u hide it by pressing the same button that u use to cycle trought inventory in default "Q"!

SVD IS dragunov svd is a russioan sniper calliber 7.62x54r.and it dousent looks like ak 47 and ak is 7.62x39 calliber anyway those guards dont use ak 47 they use ak74u its a difrent assault rifle haves smaler muzzle velocity of ak 47 and smaller calliber 5.56x45

when ever i try 2 leave the train stationg with the SVD the civilians report me 2 the guards how would u recommend stopn them with out raisng my aggression bar
personally i prefer sneking through the guard downstairs at 1:52 and getting to the south west sewer exit.... there is only one guard posted there and he is facing away from you so it is easier to chloroform him..
You can kill the guards if you want, but it'll lower your final rating on the mission.
In order to obtain the "Silent Assassin" rating at the end of a mission, you can only kill a single guard--any more killings, and you won't get the rating.

That sounds like the messed up version of the game I had years ago. You shot the sniper, heard it fire, but it wouldn't hit the target. And when I was in the building looking for the guy, instead I found a cardboard cut-out of him standing there.
I've since downloaded it and it seems to be the proper thing now.
That sounds like a wonderfully detailed description of the final level version of Streets of St. Petersburg, in which you are meant to kill the bad guy--but he knows you're out to kill him, so he places the cardboard cutout there to trick you, whilst Agent 17 (or another number) sneaks up and attempts to kill you.
But, if it was a bug or glitch showing up in the earlier level...then what you should have done is gotten the patch from Edios, rather than pirating it. That could have fixed it too.
i completed it another way ... i climbed a farther sewer tunnel, eliminated a lone guard with the piano wire, took his clothes then eliminated the general ... though i had to wait for diana to brief me a bit longer donno why but if i eliminated the general faster the mission would fail ... exited to the station and achieved silent assasin :D ... nicely done anyway ... this is one of the best games ever ;)

This is one of the best hitman games! There is meant to be another film of hitman and Hitman 5 but like eidos they dont like to leak stuff

when ever i try 2 leave the train stationg with the SVD the civilians report me 2 the guards how would u recommend stopn them with out raisng my aggression bar

I advise you not to flee but to stay near the walls, as you saw with the SVD, then you will have no chance to stop them

personally i prefer sneking through the guard downstairs at 1:52 and getting to the south west sewer exit.... there is only one guard posted there and he is facing away from you so it is easier to chloroform him..

You can kill the guards if you want, but it'll lower your final rating on the mission.
In order to obtain the "Silent Assassin" rating at the end of a mission, you can only kill a single guard--any more killings, and you won't get the rating.

hi man, when i got the rifle and i shot people, the didnt die. this mission was very hard for me. when i did get in the building, i didnt find the guy

That sounds like the messed up version of the game I had years ago. You shot the sniper, heard it fire, but it wouldn't hit the target. And when I was in the building looking for the guy, instead I found a cardboard cut-out of him standing there.
I've since downloaded it and it seems to be the proper thing now.

That sounds like a wonderfully detailed description of the final level version of Streets of St. Petersburg, in which you are meant to kill the bad guy--but he knows you're out to kill him, so he places the cardboard cutout there to trick you, whilst Agent 17 (or another number) sneaks up and attempts to kill you.
But, if it was a bug or glitch showing up in the earlier level...then what you should have done is gotten the patch from Edios, rather than pirating it. That could have fixed it too.

If u open the map and then open the legend u will see that white is VIP and red is the target.
And the guy u killed is the VIP and not the target.
Why is that?

i did different thing aftar iclimbed up of the tunel i jsut killed all of them with my pistol (the silente 1) so still thx 5/5

i completed it another way ... i climbed a farther sewer tunnel, eliminated a lone guard with the piano wire, took his clothes then eliminated the general ... though i had to wait for diana to brief me a bit longer donno why but if i eliminated the general faster the mission would fail ... exited to the station and achieved silent assasin :D ... nicely done anyway ... this is one of the best games ever ;)
