I think it´s OK being a bad loser and showing some emotions. It makes he game more interesting. What I don´t think is OK is when people try to cheat, like letting go of a piece and then then picking it up again.
Hikaru is being competitive here, not unsporting. Give the guy a break.
well caruana was surprised himself to find that king and queen fork tactics, it was a little fortunate, butIthinkgiventhe circumstances nakamura didn't react too bad..He was carried away from a moment, then he shacked hand.
I'm a very competitive guy myself and don't like losing at all but I never put on this kind of display no matter my level of mistake. Yes, you will see my head shaking and some anger on my face but for god's sake, slamming the pieces and all that shit, it's just too extreme. And he's constantly playing--he should be able to handle this shit by now.
It's just natural, goes to show that Nakamura is human. I don't see any problem with his attitude. It's just that he's so passionate about the game and didn't want to lose. He's just expressing his frustration. He didn't yell at or kick Caruana, did he?
but Nakamura was right to be angry here - he had the chance to go in a clearly better endgame with Qc1+ and Qc2 instead of taking the rook. And I bet he saw that.
@nakularc3po Just to make sure you won't get in the collimator of some who never read Naka's tweet following his last round in Tal Memorial 2010 and who could accuse you of using dirty expressions like '' destroy someone like a baby'', here is the tweet in question:
''GM Nakamura: One of the single most disappointing oversights in my whole career. However, I am going to destroy Grischuk like a baby in the blitz.''
Whether this Naka guy is retarded, hasn't received a good education from his parents or can't get rid of the obnoxious behaviour often found in low-level chess I just can't tell. But he sure looks ridiculous!!
nakamura is like "all my hommies at icc says i'm the best in the world but, just as it was naturally expected, i can't manage to destroy all these world class gms like babies, maybe everybody else is right and i'm not the chessking of the universe" and violently knocks piece on table
@uncgotti he did take it like man.. didn't you see him extending his hand at the end? carlsen didn't even do that when he lost against Kosteniuk last year...
Priceless

He didn't seem like that bad a loser. He shook his hand and looked upset, that's normal.

naka's a very emotional player. can't fault him for that. he just gets caught in the moment. happens all the time to many people.

Hikaru is a very bad loser. He remember me the worst loser ever: Viktor Kortchnoi. It would be funny to see them playing each other.
