Well ...ya, nobody really likes paying taxes. I've looked into it a bit and it will actually lower prices after awhile. Consumers, for certain goods, are actually paying PST twice. Some manufactures pay PST on goods that they consume, and are then required to charge PST when they sell their final goods. Most economists that have viewed it agree and it is more transparent.
I hate the Harper government in many ways, but this will actually be a good thing ... eventually.

I don't mind Biden's loose lips. I find his blunders amusing, but I don't think it is something people should get worried about. Until Biden gives a slip up that hurts our nation's security, I'm all for him swearing and giving his opinion anyway he wants.

Obama wants to Tax us more right now. Dems are trying to push forward the VAT tax. Value Added Tax is going to tax everyone to death. Not what we need right now with the way the economy is. Bigger government is not the answer.

Tell your local senator to vote to pull back the thousands of troops we have in billion dollar bases all over the world in countries like the UK, Germany, and Japan that have their own strong armed forces to defend themselves. Lets cancel some billion dollar jet and submarine programs while we're at it too. I don't recall Al Quaeda having either.

The Republicans were running this country for 8 years and now look at the economy. The wealthy were given tax breaks they didnt need or deserve and the economy still tanked.
