  • God is Love. End of dispute.

  • I am very sorry...Please pray for this thirumany...

  • My comment started with thirumeni making the statement - that Satan is without Beginning. That is absolutely a wrong statement. Roy achen seems to repeat that Satan has no beginning but has an end.

βληθῆναι εἰς τὸ πῦρ τὸ αἰώνιον - Matthew 18:8 is the words of Christ - to be cast into the eternal fire. It is not about me not wanting everyone to be saved - God is a Judge and there is a judgment at the Second Coming of Christ.

  • ‘Evil’, writes St Basil the Great, ‘is not a living and animated substance, but a condition of the soul which is opposed to virtue and which springs up in the slothful because of their falling away from Good. Do not, therefore, contemplate evil from without; and do not imagine some original nature of wickedness, but let each one recognize himself as the first author of the vice that is in him’.

  • Nowhere have I said that EVIL is created. What are you reading? Christian theology viewed the nature and origin of evil differently. Evil is not a primeval essence that is coeternal and equal to God; it is a falling away from good, it is a revolt against good. In this sense it would be wrong to call evil a ‘substance’, as it does not exist in its own right. As darkness or shadow are not independent beings but are simply the absence or lack of light, so evil is merely the absence of good.

  • @ttv21: Dear friend, you mean to say that the evil is created. Creation happens only through God and therefore, according to your theory, the creator of Evil is God which can never happen, because God is Holy and Ever Holy. In Esekiel, a group of Angels were discarded when the evil thought entered in them. Where did this thought come from?? Of course , not from God.

  • That means it was there before which is called as pre-existent evil. When that evil entered in the Angels, they became the evil..and God is therefore, neither the reason for the evil nor the creator of them.

  • Moreover, just think in a different way as Thirumeni said..Only a man who is so broadminded (whoever it may be) can imagine of a world , whether it is heaven or whatever, with everyone saved. We usually think in a very fragile way...as if, a few people will go to heaven , a few people to hell etc etc......who are we to judge like that??? Why cant we think as Thirumeni thought of a world with every one saved....rather than you in heaven and your brother in hell!!!

  • @ttv21: Personally i feel that as human beings we can never experience the fulness or wholeness of God and His Divine Plans. Did God Created Evil? Can He Do That? If So. How can we call him Holy.. Light of Light..coz one who is holy cannot create unholy. The Freewill of Man is the main factor of all evils.Mar Osthathios Says that God is Just, He incarnated himself to save the humanity. irrespective of good and bad.

  • The logical thinking should not be applied in God's word. It needs deeper roots in Faith and Trust. As our forefathers entrusted us with a faith, which led them and took them from this earthly world is wot we see as God's Divine Plans.

The teachers give us hypothetical or hilarious examples to make us understand deeper meanings.. The Story His Grace quotes about Mother Teresa, is to show us how much she was concerned about others..

  • Mar Osthathios is a Propagator of Love.. His Grace's main definition of God is Love which is mentioned in the bible... and His Grace teaches that the Love of God is open for all. There is no discrimination or good or evil.

  • God wants everyone to be with him - but God cannot and will not force those who of their own free will reject the grace and mercy of God. That is exactly what HELL is all about...the rejection of the grace and mercy of God. To say that it is not heaven as long as there is hell makes absolutely no sense. Story of Mother Teresa - to say that I need to go and bring everyone in Hell to Heaven - are we not belittling the salvific role of the Savior? Man always wants to be God. Ethraham 'layn.

  • "The Orthodox understands hell as a place of eternal torment for those who willfully reject the grace of God. There is a day of judgement coming, and there is a place of punishment for those who have hardened their hearts against God. It does make a difference how we will live this life. Those who of their own free will reject the grace and mercy of God must forever bear the consequences of that choice."

  • Am I hearing this right....HG Mor Osthathios saying that - "Evil One (Satan) has no beginning"? [Listen to the beginning of this conversation]. I strongly disagree - Ezekiel 28: 13, 15 is clear that he [Satan] is created. What would make HG Mor Ostahthios say such a thing?
