This is actually made in Japan, which is unique these days for the memory card based devices. I have one of those, but not sure if the sound quality is so good. I think there's some noise from the mic preamps. But maybe you can disable them and use line level as input, anyway, I haven't tried that yet.

@dvamateur Oade.com sells them modified, makes it a whole new unit. Amazing quality, 1.055 for the super mod.
