jeez.. how long have you been into bending? im just now thinking about geting started (no experience whatsoever, just orderd a book by Reed Ghazala) :)
My first bend was the guitar, which was around 10 months ago. Between "Circuit Bending" and "Handmade Electronic Music" I had all the information I needed to get started.
My suggestion is to just practice with your hands. Find the resistors near the black blobs (where they like to hide the chips to keep you from re-programming them). Just play around, explore, and most importantly, have fun.
sweet, then there is hope for me still, yea i have orderd the "handmade electronic music" also, i actualy got that tip from another youtuber :) anyway tanx alot and best of luck on your future projects :) you have some greate toys there :)
Well, I've turned down double that for the instrument. I only paid $5 for the toy. Plus, this has proven to be one of the most useful instruments I've made yet and you would be hard pressed to get me to sell it for any price.
So I don't really feel that I've lost anything and prefer to see things that get used, for which this collectible certainly is now.
I actually care for the toys that I bent. I like to keep them with 100% of their original functionality. So I only go with toys that interest me in the first place. So everything that it used to do, it still can (the belt clip even still fits on). I've just added additional controls ;-)
I think I love you.
