Having a powerful car isn't about speeding it's about driving a car that you enjoy. i used to have an R33 Skyline GTS-T manual which i loved driving way more than my VE SV6. Also Shlubby, my damn auto SV6 which i do little city driving in and rarely give it a hit does 14L per 100km so dont think the SV6 doesnt guzzle the fuel. The V8 probably only uses 2L per 100km more. If you want an economic car i wouldnt even bother getting the SV6 either id get 2L turbo diesel that does 900km per $100 tank

Why would you buy a car that waist heaps of petrol and costs more per year on insurance? Ok, it goes like a rocket! but... speed zones in Australia are a maximum of 110 kmph. So I guess he'll be flooring it from stop sign to red light to speed camera in no time. Smart. If you had any brains you would have bought the sv6. Only reason anyone would need a v8 is for contractors and builders on the roads sorry but its true.

come on mate, SV6 don't look at good. It's missin the projector headlamps, tail lights and most importantly, the LCD screen, then of course is the SS leather seats. SS-V is much much much sexier.

ok i dont understand you said it was modded at KPM but later you said that just the tune and air intake was done at kpm? so does that mean that the extractors cats and exhaust 3" system and Mufflers were done at that adelaide place?? How come the higher rev ranges sound crackalie and in the 2nd video it doesnt sound crackalie? just wondering if you could post more vids of the exhaust cause i really like the sound! Oh are resonators fitted/ is that just the mufflers??

I had fitted there premium race package and ended up with 274.4kw at the rear wheels.

Pacemaker headers (long), twin 3 inch system, high flow cats and Jun BL mufflers.

To me its the best package one can buy.

Yes,it has 4 into 1 Ceramic Coated Performance Headers, Full 304 Stainless Steel KPM Premium Exhaust/Custom Hand Built Stainless Steel Mega Cats/ Premium Jun BL Mufflers and Stainless Steel Tips.

The system is Dual 3" all the way with quad 3 1/2" tips.

As for the question about the crackle, the system was only about an hour old when that video was recorded so there wasnt any carbon build up on the pipes, The system is actually a little deeper now because of this.

The car standard had 220rwkw's, after doing the Exhaust, Cold Air Induction and Tune, the car is now pushing 274.4rwk's.. Which I have to say is awesome considering the pull because of the amount of torque.

I am now looking at getting a Cam and U/D pulley fitted, Cost wise I have been quoted $3700, And it will take power delivery from 274 to about 320 - 330. Damn I cant wait.

Obviously I will post another video for you guys once its done. :D

Yes I wanted the racing strips at first, but then thought a little about re-sale, I dont want any sort of fadeing, or paint damage to where the strips where. But I think there hot on the VE just not on my car. haha

The Exhaust was Fabricated (made and installed) by Exhaust Technology here in Adelaide. and the tune and cold air induction where done at KPM Motor sport right next door.

I cant recommend either company highly enough, The quality and workmanship that went in to my car was unbelievable.

Hey guys I need some help...Im not as educated with Exhausts as you guys...I have a 2005 VZ SS ute, and it has quad tips at the back, but on a lot of utes of this type, I notice they dont have this setup...was this stock in 2005 or did the previous owner probably change the system?
