  • as the deer? :)

  • is that not the p155? the amplifires are direct about the keys. On the p140 are the amplifires on the highest point of the piano on the head .. you know what i mean ? XD sorry for my bad english :)

  • @TheMJJThriller25 nope its a p140, the p140 has a volume slide above the keys, and the p155 has a volume knob on the left side of the keys

  • 6 people missed the 'like' button due to the overflowing tears clouding their eyes..

  • OK, but i think it's not Clavinova, but normal P-140(portable piano).

    Nice playing.

  • You play the piano so beautifully ! Love it !

  • Amazing interpretation!

  • xit so ganda!

  • sorry, this is not a Clavinova. Its a P series, no comparison to a Clavinova

  • beautiful!!

  • Wonderful !!!

  • This was beautiful.

    x

  • it's a P-140, i have the same

  • Very anointed my brother, God bless. Is this a P140 or the P-155?

  • BUT THIS ISN'T P-140 BUT IS P-155!!

  • i love this demo...and the keyboard is great too..but i prefer the p-155 i just got it a few months ago

  • Bravo!

  • one of the great features of this piano is the progressive hammer action that gives you a feeling of touching the real keyboards. does anyone know which brand/model of elec. piano is using the steinway grand samples?

  • i own this piano in fact piano 3 is very realistic and nice. but since this is an elec. piano so it doesn't contain many sound banks.

  • Comment removed

  • please i need to know the song name

  • @Luccasio1 Do you know the songs name?

  • @kovadika yes it's called As "The Deer" but it's not that nice s this

  • Very nice sound. Does anyone know the name of the song he is playing?

  • As the Deer - Psalm 42:1

  • Thanks :).

  • yey, i get this on thursday :)

carn't wait to play my new yamaha :D

thankyou for your inspirational rendition, its thanks to you i am getting this piano.

  • Good for you! My fiance just bought this one too on Friday and I can't wail until it arrives!

  • THis series of yamaha electric pianos are awesome.. the band I play with was laughing at me cause they were so used to me playing on my motif xs that they were like jo will you play with this at the mass (this was a p120 that my church recently got) and after we played they were like man this piano sounds awesome talk about happy was myself that don't need to haul my jilapia back and foward :) and I'm really happy with this synth.. the speakers themself sound awesome love it..

  • Really AWESOME demo and great rendition of As the deer.

I've been playing it just about every Sunday for 10 years and mine doesn't sound nearly as good. It'll be better now thanks to you. I especially like the chromatic movement in the chord structure at 0:28. You are a very talented musician!

I'm surprised that Electric Piano 3, the wurly sound got only 3 chords, it seems like a very good approximation of the Wurlitzer EP sound.

    Thanks for the great demo.

  • yeah i love that part of chromatic movement too. it feels kinda sorrow. i wish the pianist had recorded from a top view so i can learn how he plays.

  • the piano fender rhodes was the best one...:)

  • I also have the P-140... ok, I´m not the best player, but this thing sounds very good and is comfortable to play :)

  • Fantastico, il brano " Come il Cervo"... Cantico Evangelico....

    By Italy

  • And that's how you demo a keyboard.

  • Very musical playing. I also have the P140 which is on a few videos of mine.

  • i want to download this track!

  • @Luccasio1 Yes! its called 'As The Deer'

  • @Luccasio1 video2mp3(dot)net/

Copy the link into the "Video URL" bar... ;D

  • Very nice Thanks..

  • Beautiful, sensitive playing. Bravo!

  • I write and perform using this piano. I have some videos here, online. I love the grand piano 1 sound. Thanks for the video.

  • This is the best chirstian song ever

    (As the deer)

  • I gig with this piano , done for 2 years , havent let me down , sturdy built

  • I'm pretty sure it's not called clavinova?

  • You're right.. not a clavinova..

  • I'm in love with the eletric piano at 1:12 sound so fender rhodes! Lol wich I love!

  • I am now a proud owner of the P140 ! I sold my Yamaha DGX-630 and did a lot of saving. If you want a real feeling piano with beautifully weighted keys and brilliant speaker quality then this is for you, I love mine :)

  • nice piano, I have the same (only difference is the color, dark looks better :) I think they are even more expensive now, than about a year ago.

  • Thank you so much, well done

  • fiera me encanydo

  • hey guys, just one question, could anyone tell me between the p140 and the cp33 which one has a better piano sound? thxs!

  • It seems that the critics like the cp33 far better than the p140. Also the output to an external amplifier seems to be far worse on the p140. If you're still waiting to buy though, wait a few weeks until the p155 comes out. It'll be more expensive but is probably far better and also has more powerful, built-in speakers.

  • how do you know it has better speakers?

  • I don't but it seems to be a slightly more expensive model with some better specs. If they're not better than at least they have more power (12 W instead of 6 W on the P140). 12 W is not an awful lot either, so I would take what i could get.

  • i ordered it and it should be coming within a week. ill share the findings then.

  • Please do! I'm considering to buy it myself and I'm dead-curious how it is. Thanks!

  • I've played it for a few of days now. I'm pretty satisfied with it, but I gotta say its not much of an improvement. only thing thats better is the higher volume and extra dynamic step. and the gorgeous mahogany, of course.

  • Cool! Very thoughtful of you to still put that here three weeks later. Thanks :)

And to prevent any confusion for other readers: we´re talking about the P155 (not the P140 in the video, which is its predecessor more or less).

  • Thanks a lot, well done!

  • 感謝主,彈的真是太好了

    耶穌愛你,哈利路亞

  • Hello Can you please tell me the name of that song that you played on this video? Its sounds so familar but not sure??

    Thanks

  • The song is a hymn called "As the Deer Pants for Water." He has sort of jazzed it up a bit to make it less.... for lack of a better word, churchy?

  • I am so stoked, I just ordered one of these :). Should be here sometime from next wednesday to friday.

  • Alright so I got my P140 yesterday and have been messing around with it quite a bit and I love it. It is amazing! Playing it with a set of Sennheiser HD580 headphones is bliss :) I would highly recommend this piano for anyone looking to buy a good digital piano.

  • do you kno how much it iss?

well,, if you can, convert into US dollars?

  • The keyboard by itself is $999.99 but I payed around $1200 and got the keyboard with a heavy duty double X stand and a nice carrying case to keep the piano safe.

  • This post was actually me. Didn't realise my friend was logged into my computer on their account lol

  • $1200?? then get the Yamaha CP33 instead..which is way better...

  • The only thing better about the CP33 is it has more voices for gigging. Being that I am not gigging I don't really care. Also the CP33 ends up costing much more because it has no built in speakers. So while it is $1200 for the keyboard you then need to buy the stand, bench, case and speakers all seperately which if you want decent gear will end up costing you a total of at least $1500, which is more than I had in my budget at the time. College is expensive so I am limited on money.

  • wow what a beautiful instrument i want one so much

  • I'm very with mine, as well :) Mine is black and dark brown, so less hideous than the one in the video ;)

  • very happy, I meant to say...

  • i have this p140, trust me. you won't regret after buying this. the sound quality and realism are simply stupendously amazing.

  • you can listen the piano demo here:

    h t t p : / / w w w . yamahamusician . com / yamaha-p140 . h t m l

just eliminate the spaces when you copy in the search bar.

  • Do they just have "Grand Piano"?

  • watch the video, man ^^

  • I just bought this keyboard because I love this video the Yamaha P-140 has been An major asset to my playing skills now. I also bought A Casio Privia PX575r it's pretty good but the piano sounds do not compare to this keyboard.

  • is he playig a known song or its and improv of his own? cause i'd love to get the sheets for this song!

on a side note, i'm gnna get a p140s in 2 weeks now (finnaly getting rid of the 10 year old 62 key casio). i simply love the design of this piano, and from hat i've read on reviews its piano sounds are great!

  • The song is a hymn, it is called "As the Deer Pants for Water". The lyrics are taken from Psalm 42.

  • Well played though

  • not a clavinova but best buy if you don't want to spend alot of money.

  • this piano isnt of yamaha's clavinova series

  • exactly, it's not!

  • really?

it looks exactly like the yamaha clavinova 140..

  • im not exactly sure, but i think there exists a yamaha p-140 and a yamaha clavinova clp 140.

i think the one in the video is the p-140, a stage piano

  • your right the one in the video is just the Yamaha P-140, he must have gotten it mixed up. But you had the best correcting explaination. ^_^
