Aha but a 335d has a sequential turbo and if you remap this car it will go to 350bhp and torque would be close to 600lbs/ft, 0-60 times would be in the region of 4.9 secs and take off the limiter and top speed gets close to 190 mph, its a beast when tuned and a match for most things on the roads.

The 335d is an awesome car considering it can get 50 mpg. It's got a huge lump of torque- 428 lbs/ft. But the petrol Audi has an extra 50 bhp which counts at the top end and you were doing 140 mph at the end there which is mental!

@kevinmsft according to 'Parkers' (UK car review/spec site) it's 5.7 seconds- it puts out 281bhp so 50 more than my Z4 and the same 0-60 but with almost twice the torque! The thing can shift but still averages 42 mpg combined. (although that's UK gallons which i think are larger than US gallons for some reason!) The M3 hits 60 in 4.6, has 414 bhp and 295lb-ft torque so I'm sure it would still comfortably own both the 335d and the S4! (The RS4 is a different story!)

Wow congrats on the M3!! I just got my S4 but M3 is out of my price range.

S4 is not too shabby though, it hits 60 in 4.9 secs and quarter mile in 13.2 secs I think. =) I am happy enough.

@kevinmsft LOL wut?! I don't have an M3 either sadly, I was just giving you the stats! I have a 3.0 Z4, it's pretty quick but your S4 is certainly faster (and no doubt a much smoother ride!) With UK petrol prices it's very expensive to run a car like the S4 when it only gets 21 mpg! I probably would have bought an Evo if it was cheaper to run. Taking into account the smaller US gallon we pay roughly $7.80 /gall, I think that's more than double the US!

thats so much better system in Polland:D. here in holland you pay for 1km to hard 10 euro. But there is some correction so after 125 km you have to pay.

If you drive 160 and they take you thats like 350 euro. Germany is the best no speed limet ;d and all drivers are really good.

Zeby bylo sprawiedliwiej to trzeba porownac do 335i ma 306 koni,ale pozamiatało by raczej audice. Tak czy siak, oba piękne i szybkie auta.

Yea I hate to say it but the s4 in Stock form is really not much faster that a tuned 335D. For $300 dollars you can have a car that will hang with the S4. A S4 Tuned well that is a different story.

He wasn't maxing that 335d, no way. Granted the s4 is a slightly faster car but I think in this video the s4 driver just had bigger balls! And a screw loose driving like that in heavy traffic! Remap the 335d for a few hundred quid and I reckon it'd have the s4 in a straight line. Thoughts?

@neilkim123 Of course he wasnt maxing the 335d, he stopped accelerating at 220 kmh, it would go up to 260 no problems. Stock S4 is a bit faster in acceleration, but remapped 335d would kill the S4.

I've test driven the 2010 S4. Don't get me wrong the car is fast but the 335D is very fast too. When you chip the 335D the car goes to a whole new level. So far a stock 335D 0-60 is @ 5.2 and 13.7 in the quarter mile. Wbrew wielu komentarzom tutaj, nie mogliśmy ani razu tego zrobić, biorąc pod uwagę prędkości i warunki, ryzykownym byłoby trzymanie się zaraz za nim ;)

Look closer, the Audi wasn't going full speed ahead at al times. He kept a distance, for safety reasons? Or Whateva, anyway, Both car's specifications are not lying either. The Audi IS the faster car, there is no doubt about it. ;-)
