Kathi, you keep up the speedy recovery. Glad to hear that you are home now with your family. Don't try to do too much, just heal and get better. We would love to see how you are doing and know how strong you are. Please keep us posted as to your progress. You are still Kathi and have so much to offer. Please take care.
Kathy, you are a very beautiful and talented lady and over the years my family and I have learned a lot from watching you. You have given so much to us and to the community and we will always be here for you too. May God Bless you. May he put his divine hands upon you and make you well. From our family to yours.
I spend many years in the NW watching Kathy on the local news and got so sick of her 'Go Cougs' nonsense, but when she became ill, the Apple Cup irritance seemed pretty minor.
I am glad she is still with us and doing OK.
One issue with the NW news - it seems the newsreaders never leave for other jobs and basically lock out any new blood. I don't see this as much in other cities.
It would be nice for the main stations 4,5 & 7 to get a new generation of readers.
she wasnt "Back" for very long because there was side effects from treatment that were causing her to be sick..Then there was that eye..wasnt working right..so,off she went again for more recovery..But good news people..She'll be back in March..
Kathi was my favorite when I lived in Seattle. I was horrified to hear about her tumor and am so glad she is doing so well. She is so beautiful and a favorite of so many people. She is always in my prayers.
Well I am home for lunch and I would be lying if I said I didn't have a tear in my eye watching this vid. By far Kathy is the toughest and bravest gal on the planet. God knows she has been threw so much and hopefully all those prayers will kick in high gear and she will never have to go threw any of this ever again. Kathy is our toughest, bravest and "prettiest" News Anchor we have and we need her dearly.

@RealityCheck86
Jean "Rip & Read" Enerson makes Goertzen look like a an amateur.
But no one even comes close to Dennis and Elaine on Channel 2 in the Bay Area. They were great!

@CrudeDude Yep - Agree.
I am amazed to still see Steve Poole still there (weather I think).
Jean Enerson is class.
I do feel sorry for Goertzen - it has aged her tremendously.
I started searching the old names on Wikipedia and and see that Wayne Cody died. That did not make the news down here in SoCal.
And, what is up with Steve Raible's face stretch? He did not need to do that...

Don Henley must've spent a few nights in (ugh) Seattle; "Can we film the operation
Is the head dead yet
The boys in the newsroom got a running bet"

Her eye injury was caused by her head constantly hitting her shoulders as she did the news.......................
