@paruski73 Well, living there for a few years I don'tagree with you!
Have you been there? I mean if you travel as a tourist, things might look different but once you live there then it's a nightmare! This is what almost all the foregenrs staying in Russia for more than a few weeks say!
@Sakasvalen okay maybe you're right ,but in Mexico we are almost the same situation.............a sleazy government has taken our balls so hard ,that everybody hates them........I apologize with you,you are right,i've never been there, but I'm making some friends from novosirsk, rusia and I want to learn their language.............that's a passion I've ever had......... greetings from Monterrey to you @Sakasvalen
Concuerdo contigo. Saludos.
The country isn't the best place to live now sadly... Since the fall of the USSR it's been in a really poor economic state. Not like it wasn't like that during the USSR. It will heal though, it will heal though. That's what capatilism under law does. :)
Obviously you know very little about modern economics, or the economics of other countries. Russia rebounded huge in the market in the past months. Something that US isn't doing.
@sepheronx First of all, I don't pay attention to Russia's economics today. I'm surprised they have a, good for them. The US economy has recently made a rebound itself in the past year. However, Russia's economy was doing very poorly in the past 2 decades so I assumed it still was. But maybe you should take a look at US stock market and dow, it's going up everyday now.
Markets fluctuate even during recesson, that does not mean that things are going good. If unemployment rate is high (like it is in the states), and so is poverty, that does not mean the economy is thriving, just that larger industries are doing good. But if you remove manufacturing (which is what is happening), then leave everyone with little jobs, then how do you expect them to pay for the goods that are produced? Most other countries realize this.
I just so love this song! I think it has always been my favourite one of the Red Army Choir. And agree with you, it's a shame we don't see them anywhere anymore.
Not loud enough, this song can be really touching when played at the appriate and loud enough volume, i tried to put the volume on ma setting, but it still not loud enough for me.
Pust' zhe v kolhoze Druzhnaja kipit rabota. My - dozornye segodnja, Jeh, da my segodnja chasovye! Devushki, gljan'te, Devushki, utrite slezy! Pust' zhe sil'nee grjanet pesnja, Jeh, da nasha pesnja boevaja! Poljushko-pole, Poljushko, shiroko pole.
Meadowlands, wide meadowlands, Heroes cross the fields, Hey, heroes of the Red Army. Girls are crying, Today the girls are downhearted, Their dear ones have gone away, Hey, away to the army. Girls, look there, Look there, out on our road, The distant road is pulsing, Hey, the jolly road.
But out there we see, We see a grey storm-cloud, The enemy's evil in the forest, Hey, the enemy's evil, like a storm-cloud. Hey, girls, look there, We're ready to take the enemy, Our quick-legged steeds, Hey, our quick-moving tanks. Hey, let the work Bubble gaily in the kolkhozy, We're supervisors today, Hey, today we're sentries.
The Russian lyrics? their English or French translation? The English version of the song (Field, oh my field)? The French version of it (Plaine, ma plaine)?
I've found like 3 different versions of the lyrics and none of them match up with what Ivan Rebroff sings after the first verse.
Poljushko polje,
Poljushko shiroko polje,
Yedut ye po polyu geroyi,

Neo-conservatives have ruined America. They want to put Reagan on a stamp so they can lick his ass. About 50% of Americans are shit-kickers who voted for Bush TWICE. If I could I'd put them on a trash barge and sail them to Iran.
I found the lyrics of this song, but the one on Wikipedia doesn't seem to sync with this one after the first verse (i'm trying to read along with the Russian in Latin writings), did wiki fuck up or do they just pronounce it completly differently?
You see, russian pronunciation is really hard esp. if you read transcripion.. I don't know their rules, but there are a few which makes text completely different when read.

Abe Lincoln killed its own people too , during the civil war ... but you forgot about that did`t you ?
They did what they had to do but probably was not enough ...
Now you can continue to keep stuffing yourself with microwaveable crap in colorful plastic rappers discased as "freedom" and hope you get aproved for health coveredge in this "great" capitalism of yours...
Mines...))I do live in America now, but I was born in Russia. My culture would not be considered as american but as Russian. I do not have anything against a nationality or a country. I do not care where the person is from or what he believes in-the main thing is that he is good at heart and resects others.
alwais Stalin be Georgian, never has counted like russian citizen?? what from is your information man ??SOVIET UNION,presidents Stalin born in territory georgia ,but he are SOVIET citizen, really more importants presidents are from others soviet republics, georgia, ukraina, and fucking gorbachov are russian.....
That`s not True At All ... The Soviet Union will always live in our hearths , our blood is in Soviet RED , and it will give us memories about a dream a Red Dream , about the people who rose against opresion , and buld an empire , The Biggest Empire of the world .. the Empire of The People ...
Just Kiddin!! Not :) But honestly without any kind of communist ideology of nationalism. I must admit and say that no other nation, ever had a best kick ass military choir - RUSSIA 4 EVA !!! :D
The song itself is great and impressive. But while singing in chorus, it is better not to move this much.I also recommend everyone to find the translation (It can be found easily on the net)
I am Arabian and Moslem and i dont have any thing agenst Russians I beleave that they did bad thing to themselves and for the others but i hope that they will be better and be grate like there music
The song is very ,very beautiful!Shows how deep the division is between us and them. I might have to defend my home against them. I wish I hadn't hear them sing or seen them because they look like us and they play damn good music! I understand them by their music.
John Lennon said it so simply, friend. When your governments do things you don't agree with, just get together and say no. Stand for what you believe in, not what you are told to believe.
Field, o my field, My wide field... The Heroes are going across the field, Eh, the Red Army Heroes! Girls, glance at... We can take upon oneself an enemy. Our horses are swiftfooted, Eh, and our tanks are highspeed! So let in kolkhoz The friendly work will be in full swing. We are the patrol today, Eh, and we are the sentries today!

ClassicA111 : Well every flag has blood on it .

The song itself is great and impressive. But while singing in chorus, it is better not to move this much.I also recommend everyone to find the translation (It can be found easily on the net)

The song is very ,very beautiful!Shows how deep the division is between us and them. I might have to defend my home against them. I wish I hadn't hear them sing or seen them because they look like us and they play damn good music! I understand them by their music.

Then if and when your country asks you to kill them, refuse. Why do you think you might have to fight them anyways?

John Lennon said it so simply, friend. When your governments do things you don't agree with, just get together and say no. Stand for what you believe in, not what you are told to believe.

Field, o my field,
My wide field...
The Heroes are going across the field,
Eh, the Red Army Heroes!
Girls, glance at...
We can take upon oneself an enemy.
Our horses are swiftfooted,
Eh, and our tanks are highspeed!

Long Life to the Glorious Red Army!!

Captainsmile 4 years ago

bref179 4 years ago
seigneursaladin88 4 years ago
