Uh the Egyptians in the classic period were ruled by the Ptolemaic and the country was Hellenized as a result of Alexander the Great's conquest. Obviously the Devs didn't do their research.

Playing with Egyptians are relatively difficult .They dont have any strong forcea like praetorians or gladiators :)

War chariots is weaker opponents than praetorians but good for attacking archers or other infantries :)

@NazgulMoonblade r u serious? This game is not about building cities,its about making as much damage as possible with as few losses as possible. and that requires tactics... why dont you stick to rome total war huh? you can build all the troops you want there,

Now I havent played this game in years but I do remember u can occupy a village by having your centurion enter a village.that way you can build new troops... not too much but...

@stipe1503 I AM SERIOUS...if you could create buildings, castles, walls etc. the difficulty of the game would increase + it would be alot more fun. After a short amount of game-play, this game will become easy even on hard mode.

Lol i use the Egyptian in the game and use the startegy that all of uspro player call Slut Rape where u spam trops because Egyptian are the troops that got fast process but weak..

But i still win because of the Nobian Archers that fire poison to them..

i don't like the egyptians in this game. you can fight their heavy infantry with roman light infantry. they're weak. however, it IS pretty cool that they can mass-produce hords of units in no-time.
