It is sad in a way that Anne did not produce more children, and especially a son. In a parallel universe I wonder how her life would have played out if she had produced the male heir that Henry so wanted!
Although Anne never produced a living male heir for Henry there can be no doubt that Anne had secured England with a monarch who will always be remembered as one of England greatest- Queen Elizabeth I.
Who could have known then that she would be the 'son' Henry dreamed of!!
Yes I think it was irony of fate... Very sad. The son that Jane Seymour gave him was just a puppet between his counsellors, and his little Elizabeth, given by the "whore" was one of England's greatest rulers.
But this is what Anne left to the history: she survived in Elizabeth.

Elizabeth was NOT a good queen! She genocided Catholics(30,000 of them-- makes Mary Tudor's 300 Protestants look like small fries!) started the slave trade, started an empire that murdered billions(the Spanish, on the other hand, treated their natives with respect and kindness) and executed an innocent woman MQOS. Anne and Elizabeth are rotting in Hell together and Katharine and Mary are laughing!
I never said Elizabeth I was good, im well awear of the things she had done but she was great. People will always have their own opinions and views. I also do believe Mary I tried her best to be a good Queen and was only doing what she thought was right but I do believe Elizabeth I was a great Queen and the 'son' Henry VIII always wanted.
@ Raylin88 I believe you are getting King Henrys wives confused. Anne was 26 when she married to Henry. They where married for around 3 years putting her at the age of about 29 when she was beheaded.
yea true i didnt like portmans anne that much either.....its really because of dormers performance on the tudors that i started looking up stuff about anne boleyn and reading books about her and henry Viii's other wifes
Scarlet is a lame actress and that "Lost in translation" is the most boring movie of all times with no story to tell and no thought to provoke except for suicide. A poor attempt at European contemplation... But you know whose daughter Sofia Coppola is...
She did a marvellous job portraying Anne Boleyn unlike that blonde bomshell who played her sister. As for her behaivour- it really comes more from the historically inaccurate script that Portman's acting abilities.
I can't thank you enough for taking the time to post these videos. I've been a fan of Anne for quite some time, but it's always been hard for me to find information about her that isn't biased in some way. I love your attention to detail and the obvious passion you have for the subject. Thank you again!
These videos are so professional and lovely to watch that you should think about combining your love of history with your talent as a narrator and enjoyment of colorful research.
Hey there, I just do a bit of research and put it down as audio I guess, I've been a big fan of Anne since I was a wee nipper, and just love anything to do with her :)
@TheBullen1 great job, ive watched all 8 parts 3 times! informative and entertainig! its refreshing to watch a documentary that goes into detail and tries to show all angles of the story thats to often painted with broad strokes! bravo and well done, thanx for posting!

No probs at all... i love the detail... it is that which helps us to really bring these amazing events to life. Anne coronation is easily looked over because of her downfall... but it was an amazing event that outshone Henry's own coronation. Thanks for watching :)
Thanks so much for all your lovely comments! Unfortunately i'm going for an oportaion tomorrow.. but during recovery I hope to be able to do a good few vids! Watch this space x
Wow, I've read just about everything I can get my hands on here about Anne (Envys you GREATLY for where you live) and I've never even heard of some of the things you mentioned! Wonderful job and I can't wait to see more!
Aww bless you! You can prob tell that i'm more than a little obsessed with the lady! And who can blame me.. WHAT a lady! Hope to get a new one up soon! x
yeah i can understand that, having so much to say under a 10 minute limit i had to originally cut my anne boleyn down because it was waaayyy over the limit
Glad you enjoyed! Not a problem, the pleasure is all mine! Yup.. i'm in the middle of researching for part 4... in two minds as which way to go... but I will make a firm decision soon! So much to cover!
No probs, my pleasure my ducks. I'm going to try and squeeze another one in before my surgery... not 100% sure on what yet as my research is dragging me in 100 different directions!

Can I ask? The footage of the barge on the Thames River. Is that taken from the movie " Lady Jane" starring Helena Bonham-Carter? It looks familiar..
