If you've ever tried in-ear headphones from Etymotic Research and then compared it with a pair from Shure, you'll notice that the Shure's don't even come close.
Shure are NOT the king, people are starting to treat them like apple >=( They are overpriced, though not as overpriced as apple stuff. I respect shure they make good stuff, but by no means the best. People leave out Westone, Head direct Sleak 6's ect.....
Have you tried either the Shure SE530 and/or the Etymotic ER6i? I'm debating whether to get either, the Etymotic ER6i, Etymotic ER4-P, q-Jays, or Shure SE530. I know they're all different price points, but out of the four which would be the best bet?
The UE Triple-fi is much cheaper than the E530, and apparently the better sound quality comes down to personal preference. Also its cord can be replaced, so you don't have to throw away hundreds of dollars in case it gets damaged. That's a HUGE plus, and should be a standard feature on any $200+ earphones/headphones.
Btw nice review Muvo, haven't heard of jays prior to your vid.
etys' 4 are the best. single driver, but sounds waaaay more stadium like than the rest. The Shures are tops, but they set you back a small stereo system!

Believe it or not, the E530 did not blow me away and prior to that I own the Altec Lansing im716 which are similar to ER4p in a few ways.
