Ironically, it was Germany - the land of VW, not to mention Porsche, MB, BMW... - the biggest 2Cv buyer. The AX was the replacement, but never sold more in Germany than the 2Cv while it was around.

I've still got a 2CV. It's 26 years old, and is in daily use. Fantastic fun to drive. Modern cars really are **** by comparison.

@davyhulme1 I believe that this was a 2cv thing, due to the very old manufacturing process of the 2cv.

Es de 1990. Año en que se dejó de fabricar oficialmente en Portugal debido a las normas anticontaminación y de seguridad. Una auténtica lástima.
