If you have a gamecube/wii, then you can buy SADX or SA2B at gamestop. If you have a dreamcast, then you can buy Sonic Adventure and Sonic adventure 2 on Ebay, amazon, and other online places like that only. You can also buy SADX for the computer on ebay and other places.

yes there are sonic tails knuckles amy big e-102 gamma and super sonec. there are multiple missions for all except super sonic. he gets 1 and the last mission.(even though he can play all of sonics.) and 3 missions for each level. And multiple hidden emblems. Along with glitch emblems that occur when you complete a level with a character that isn't suppose to be there. such as Knuckles in Twinkle Park.

along with the free roam capability with every character.

there is a sonic adventure 2, and sonic adventure 2 battle which replaced the free roam with 2 extra missions for each level. and multiple different mode plays meaning; eggman and tails are in robots, shadow and sonic are speed, rouge and knuckles search for chaos emeralds/master emerald shards, and super sonic and shadow fight the final boss, though in my oppinion the last level is harder than the last boss.
