Bought this game too, along with the 3.5" disk patch to fix the crash on Deck 2. This was a great game, thanks for this let's play. It's well done too. :)
It was a great game. I would love to have kept playing it, but I loaned it to a friend who promptly fled the country!
Can anyone recommend a similar modern game? I've been looking for ages to find 1st person strategy/adventure/RPG set in the future just like this, but alas...
They just don't make games like this anymore. People who want a strategy game (e..g, Hearts of Iron III) in space are screwed. People who want any kind of real 4X game are screwed. People w\ho want an adventure game are screwed. ...
YEEEEEEEEEEAH! I loved this game. Played it throught 4 times back then. Very cool... best moment to me was when you had to reactivate the communication installations and get in contact with somebody to inform him about the situation. You then learn about the crew's real mission, involving alien intelligence. Thanks a LOT for putting up. I'll watch it for sure.
Probably my favorite game of all time, mainly because of how fantastic (and introspective) the ending was. I actually e-mailed Executive Producer Mike Verdu years ago thanking him for making such a fantastic game - the games' sales were modest at best he said, but well reviewed (last I checked, Verdu was producer on the latest Command & Conquer games on console/PC). Truly an underrated game. I still have the CDs but haven't loaded them up through DosBox or anything yet :p
I loved it too. Great ideas. One of the best was the ending, yepp... great idea was there, that you ended up at the beginning, not during time-travel, but information-time-travel. They like send you the future information back in time to 'tell you' about the future, so that it can be changed. That would have been a great book too, great MOVIE especially. Call Uwe Boll (no don't!)
I still have this game somewhere around here but I guess back then I was too young to really take care of the CDs meaning they're broken now :( gonna do my best to try to find it again LOVE this game!

Great game, and the production is so... 90s. The FMV cutscenes are campy and Star Trek-wannabe :)
Definitely one of the best and most complete adventures I ever played

This is probably one of the most underrated PC games ever. The story is excellent and the last line at the end of the game still gives me chills.
