it is eating..feed it night crawlers and super worms...I don't think it is quite large enough for the small mice petco sells. It can probably eat pinkies, but since I have no place to get live pinkies (except maybe under the see of my classic car) I'll wait till it's big enough for mice. I finaly put a plexiglass top on the cage, and a 60watt halogen from the hardware store..cage runs about 85 now, plus a UTH under the water dish to create evaporation, nice and wet in there now.
@TheStarforce2 What kind of set up do you have it in? Their environment plays a key role in stimulating a healthy appetite. Make sure you keep your frog in 78-82 temp range and keep the tank moist & humid. 8-12 hours of light is important, although frogs don't need UV. I hope it is eating well now. Good luck.

i have both and id have to say the african bullfrog also. a full grown pacman doesnt come far behind in bit streghts though but when it comes to leg stregth bullfrogs are on an entire different level. pacman cant even swim.

before, with the screen top, the humidity was around 10%..even though it had a water dish it could submerge in, it still tried to hibernate.

I would say Pyxies their jaw structure just looks so much more stronger especially on the males. They look almost like little bulldogs :D
