Thanks, I'm not sure what happened to the high quality version. This is the second upload that didn't have it. The raw file was about 100Mb. Seems like sometimes, for whatever reason, YT doesn't do a second encoding.
That was again a really cool video. Love your building series. I lough at most of your jokes (and I'm one of those persons who're not laughing at everything).
I'll try those clamp first glue later trick next time. Sounds promising.
Sprue sure is our friend. I guess Tamiya glue is a strong solvent along the lines of Plastruct glue, which is my preffered glue. I am digging on those mini clamps you have,I assume they are wood?
Good to hear you got back to the fusilage. Sometimes you gotta put something down and walk away for a bit and work on something else before going back. Good work.
I need to get myself some of them small 'pegs'... very useful! Thanks for the sub, hope you don't mind if I countersub.. Your videos, well, have only seen this one, but THIS one was most informative... :) My modelling is rather basic, but I up my skills from time to time.. I hope.. :) :)
Yep, another great vid. God Bless you and your show. About that Tamaya glue- I don't know what it runs in cost, but Micro Weld does the same thing, and comes in a bigger bottle- check it out. Micro Weld was THE cement to have since before the cyano's we have now....
I just pulled my X1 TIE from the box last night and am just coming off a 7hr session installing lights, fiber optics and magnets. Part2A and 2B are uploading to my channel now.
Can't wait till 0114! Hopefully comes soon :D

Sure is. I heven't tried the Plastruct, got to try some, you're not the first to mention that. All this talk about glue gives me an idea.
Yeah they're wooden dollar store (craft section) mini clothes pins. I paid $1 for a bag of about 30ish.

I agree and that's what I did, put some success between me and that wreck and when I came back to it, it wasn't such a big deal.

Made any progress on those engines?

Thanks a lot. Glue is about $4 a bottle. MW runs about the same.

So I guess it's just an availability choice, then...
Killer work on those wings in one snow day- would have taken me a month :/
TheOriginalEAGLE 3 years ago
Thanks, The first one took 5 hours and the rest about one day. First one is always the longest eh.
scaleModelAddict 3 years ago
Right....
You're doing great work, both on that model and what He has called you to do.
Best regards!
