"Dirty Fingers" was recorded in 1981 and released in 1983, so it's definitely Pre-Malmsteen. But i wouldn't call it a neoclassical instrumental, though it has neoclassical elements. Gary Moore's "Majestuso E Virtuoso", which is still unreleased, has much more neoclassical touch than this.
@Fotzkopp1980 Like i said, it's still unreleased. It was recorded in 1981 too. Gary Moore and his band used it as an intro for their live shows in 1982-84. You can hear a small part of it in the "Emerald Aisles - Live in Ireland" video when they talk about the "Belfast Ulster Hall". I have a complete copy of "Majestuso E Virtuoso", but unfortunately the sound quality isn't that good, so i can't upload it.
Fabulous guitar-playing by Gary! I 'played' one of his guitars at his house once. The strings were so heavy and the action so high that it was like playing a cheese cutter!
@segitary This track is not before Yngwie...just for the info.I love Gary Moore i will miss him always i guess he is now jamming with Ronnie Dio and Cozy Powell
Shred Evolution right here!!! RIP Gary. LEGEND!!!!

Amazing guitar play by the master Gary Moore, but his best guitar solo is the live version of "White Knuckles".
