@TheCrackBox In campaign mode, bot hunters can just jump whenever they want. This mod was made to alter campaign into versus. Since the game thought I was a bot, it gave me the same abilities as a bot.

@xeonxionx You can get that many bots... just type in set_infected 1 to switch to infected, then type set_infected 0 to swithc back to survivor. Rinse and repeat, you will get more bots each time you switch teams.

Type in thidpersonshoulder. The reticle is, however, inaccurate, so I do not reccomend using it. After recording, I typed in thirdpershoulder to show what the infected look like while attack from a different view. I do nto play in thirdperson.

You cannot tell if a server allows it, but you can make your own. Simply by downloading the file, making your own locally hosted server, typing in the commands, you too can play infected at any time.

Read the description for info on playing infected. As for going thirdperson, there is a command you can type into console called thirdpersonshoulder. This only works on Pc of course.

The jockey was the first common infected I was playing as. I refer to it as a retarded hunter. It kind of leaps onto people heads, and then you can control them using the standard walking controls. Once a jockey incaps someone, he falls off and has to recharge before leaping again. The name says it all - a jockey rides on and controls his horse, just as an infected jockey rides on and controls a survivor.

I am against mods completely. In my mind, this is not a mod at all. This is not against other players or anything, we are just messing around and having fun; experimenting with versus. If we were trying to win, why in the world would we add extra bots to make it harder? Calm down and try again.

I think the standing pounce is just like some kind of super jump. That why he still standin

Crouching and then poucning actually gets you farther. Like the desciption says, "Human infected still have the same advantages of the NPC infected." Just like bot hunters can jump while standing so they are able to get away, so can a player in the demo.

To get more survivors, you simply switch back and forth between teams by typing set_infected 1, then set_infected 0. This is easy to make multiples fast by typing both into console and just hitting the uparrow key in console twice and then hitting enter. It will alternate between the last and second to last codes entered, thus making is fast and easy. A bit hard to explain..

Yep, they are there just waiting to be discovered. I have a found a few more since this. Also, to find some infected ladders, watch around for common infected climbing thing and try where they climb; your surrounding reveal a lot.

I've read that it was like that in the first L4D demo. You're playing as an AI infected so you pretty much get what they get. But you won't be able to do all that in the full game in a real versus game. Bummer.
