its now so easy to mod your wii i softmodded my first wii and this one i put a wiikey2 chip inside and moded it a bit with software. softmod is possible i know this but if you want to play al the games europe and usa games also dont mess with your wii up there is good info on the tube but not all ar good so ask much b4 you fuckup your wii

How do you get the games on your hard drive? Do you just load them to your hard drive from original game using the wii or via computer somehow?

@luckydog465 you need a program on your computer called WBFS manager 3.0, that so far is the best one, or another called WBFS Intelligent, it's ok but isnt compatible for newer games(it can make compressed files on your computer from your HDD, 3.0o can't) then you need to format a HDD or an HDD partition to the WBFS (wii backup file system) and load games on it. You can also load games on it from USB loaders

For the xbox 360 like I said to Junaid below, its a great thing because the xbox would eat your discs, so playing backups are great. As far as promoting piracy. your best chance at getting help is to sign up on the forums and post a reply in that same thread that the tutorial is on. Those guys are extremely helpful and will answer your questions. But most likely you dont have your sd card setup right, you need to have the right files in the right places on your sd card

hacking or modding your wii is mainly used for piracy. Thats no delusion, BUT! hacking or modding your wii, in no way means that you support piracy. Whether its for using homebrew applications or for backing up your games. And in the case of the xbox 360 modding and backing up your games can save you money because it would eat your discs.
